Since reform and opening up,the level of technological innovation of Chinese enterprises has been greatly improved,and has increasingly transcended geographical space.With the economic opening and coordinated inter enterprise connection,China has built an urban technological innovation network.At the same time,the rapid economic development brought by global industrial transfer has made China’s environmental pollution problem increasingly serious.The impact of environmental pollution has a significant spatial correlation effect.This paper focuses on the impact of technological innovation network on urban environmental related pollution in China.Firstly,through social network analysis and geospatial analysis methods,using Arc GIS,UCINET and other tools,based on the emission data of industrial wastewater,industrial sulfur dioxide and industrial smoke and dust in 272 prefecture level cities in China in2019,this paper measures the interactive pollution of the environment between cities through the modified gravity model.Secondly,this paper describes the structural characteristics of China’s urban technological innovation network by using the indicators of network scale,density and centrality.Finally,on this basis,using QAP model,this paper empirically studies the impact of China’s urban technological innovation network on China’s urban environmental related pollution,further deepens the interior of urban agglomeration,and carries out regional heterogeneity analysis.The main findings of this paper are as follows:(1)From the perspective of China’s urban environmental related pollution network,during the investigation period,the urban related pollution of Chinese cities showed significant regional heterogeneity,among which the pollution within the Yangtze River urban agglomeration was the most closely related,followed by Beijing Tianjin Hebei and the Pearl River urban agglomeration,and the environmental related pollution in the central and western regions was weak.(2)From the perspective of China’s technological innovation cooperation network connection,Beijing and Shanghai are in an absolute dominant position in the network,which makes the whole network present a dual core structure;At the same time,the urban agglomeration with the closest technological innovation and cooperation between the two sides is the Yangtze River urban agglomeration.(3)QAP analysis shows that on the whole,China’s technological innovation network has not played an effective role in improving environmental pollution.In urban agglomerations with strong industrial links,the problem of associated pollution is still serious,represented by the Yangtze River,Pearl River and Sichuan Chongqing urban agglomerations.Beijing Tianjin Hebei Urban Agglomeration is a special case.Its internal urban technological innovation network has effectively reduced urban environmental pollution.Therefore,it is urgent to improve the level of green technology innovation and promote the joint prevention and control of environmental pollution.
