The 20th Party Congress report pointed out that we should promote the ecological protection and high-quality development of the Yellow River Basin,build an ecological security pattern in the Yellow River Basin and make new contributions to the great rejuvenation of the Yellow River Basin.As an important ecological barrier,energy resource base and cultural heritage innovation zone in China,the Yellow River Basin is an important support for achieving the national strategic goals of China’s new development stage an d promoting Chinese civilization.However,the Yellow River Basin ecosystem is complex and fragile,facing severe challenges such as water shortage,soil erosion and industrial pollution due to the deterioration of the natural environment and excessive intervention of human activities.These ecological problems not only affect the normal survival and development of the people in the basin,but also greatly restrict the quality development of the Yellow River Basin.How to screen the ecological security of the Yellow River Basin,reveal the laws of ecological security interpretation,and then improve ecological security is a major strategic need to achieve ecological protection and high-quality development in the Yellow River Basin.Therefore,this paper measures the ecological security of the Yellow River Basin from the perspective of the basin system as a whole,analyses its evolutionary patterns and influencing factors,and proposes targeted enhancement strategies,aiming to promote the harmonisation of economic development and natural resources within the basin,as well as provide theoretical guidance for the high-quality development of the Yellow River Basin.Based on this,this paper takes the Yellow River Basin as the research object,and based on theories related to ecological security,it compares the current situation of ecological security in the Yellow River Basin,and then constructs an ecological security index system,measurement model and factor analysis model to carry out research on ecological security in the Yellow River research framework is described,while the relevant literature on ecological security at home and abroad is reviewed,and the current situation of ecological security in the Yellow River basin is analysed in depth,and the need for this study is clarified.Then,the entropy-weight-TOPSIS model was constructed to measure the ecological safety level of the Yellow River Basin,and the 10-year ecological safety index of each province in the Yellow River Basin from 2012 to 2021 was obtained,and then the ecological safety index of the Yellow River Basin as a whole and each province in the Yellow River Basin in time dimension was determined.Finally,the BPDEMATEL model was used to sort out the key factors affecting ecological security in each province,and based on the evolution of ecological security and key factors,targeted Finally,the BP-DEMATEL model is used to sort out the key factors affecting ecological security in each province,and propose ecological security enhancement strategies based on the evolution of ecological security and key factors,so as to provide reference for the high-quality development of the Yellow River basin in the new development stage.The conclusions of this study are as follows:(1)The overall ecological safety level of the Yellow River Basin is average,but shows a benign evolution,with the nine provinces along the route showing an upward,fluctuating and downward evolution,and the heterogeneity of ecological safety is prominent,with the evolution of ecological safety level in each province becoming more and more uneven.(2)The ecological safety of the Yellow River Basin shows the spatial differentiation characteristics of "high in the east and low in the west,collapsing in the middle",and the ecological safety hierarchy changes from "flat" to "pyramidal",while The spatial evolution of ecological safety in the Yellow River Basin from 2012 to 2021 shows a "west(northward)to south(eastward)" shift.(3)The key factors affecting the level of ecological security vary among different provinces in the Yellow River Basin:total retail sales of social consumer goods and soil erosion area in Qinghai,total retail sales of social consumer goods in Sichuan,GDP per capita in Gansu,water consumption per capita in Ningxia,industrial soot emissions per unit of GDP and water resources per capita in Inner Mongolia,fixed asset investment in Shaanxi,fixed asset investment,general public The following Tab.shows the proportion of fixed asset investment,general public budget revenue and soil erosion control area in Shanxi,fixed asset investment in Henan,and investment in environmental management in GDP in Shandong.
