With the rapid development of social technology, the production of unconventional oil and gas drilling waste fluids is gradually increasing. In order to ensure the economic, efficient, and green development environment of oil and gas fields, the waste fluid treatment station has become an important focus of attention for unconventional oil and gas development sites.Research on waste fluid treatment stations mainly focuses on waste fluid treatment and reuse technologies, with little attention given to the economic issues surrounding waste fluid disposal. Therefore,it is crucial to construct a location selection model suitable for waste fluid treatment stations in unconventional oil and gas development operations in order to achieve economic and efficient waste fluid treatment. In this paper,a location selection model for waste fluid treatment stations in unconventional oil and gas development operations is constructed, with research focusing on the analysis of the model and methods, problem statement, model construction, and model application analysis.Taking the Changqing oilfield as the research object, the specific research content includes the following aspects:(1)A systematic study and analysis of the location selection problem for waste fluid treatment stations in unconventional oil and gas development operations is carried out.The background of waste fluid treatment station construction, treatment and disposal technology, and the current status of waste fluid treatment station selection are described, and it is proposed that the current waste fluid selection model for unconventional oil and gas development operations should focus on multi-facility selection.(2)By comparing and analyzing the applicability range, fields, and advantages and disadvantages of several common location selection models, combined with the research background of waste fluid treatment stations,an economic objective-oriented location allocation model and the enumeration method and iterative method as the location selection methods are determined as suitable for waste fluid treatment stations in unconventional oil and gas development operations.(3)Combining the location selection principles and problem descriptions of waste fluid treatment stations,an objective function for selecting a location that minimizes the sum of the waste fluid treatment station construction cost and the waste fluid transportation cost is constructed, with constraints including:(1)each waste water production point can only be sent to one treatment station,(2)the number of waste fluid treatment station facilities is fixed,and(3)the daily waste fluid production volume must be less than the daily processing volume of the waste fluid treatment station.A location selection model for waste fluid treatment stations in unconventional oil and gas development operations is established using Python programming based on this model.(4)The model is applied to fixed and mobile waste fluid treatment station location selection. The results show that the increase of screening conditions has little effect on the location selection of fixed waste fluid treatment stations. The timing of the selection process is the most significant factor in the location selection of fixed waste fluid treatment stations, with an increase in waste water production nodes leading to slight positional shifts and changes in the allocation ratio of selection points. In addition, changes in the number of facilities also affect the objective of the waste fluid treatment station location selection model. The main factors affecting the location selection of mobile waste fluid treatment stations are the annual production of waste fluids, the timing of unconventional oil and gas development, the number of waste fluid treatment stations used, and the location of the maximum number of waste fluid treatment stations.Time changes have a relatively small impact on the location selection of mobile waste fluid treatment stations.Due to its flexible and adjustable characteristics, this approach can result in lower construction and transportation costs of waste fluid treatment stations in practical applications.
