As the difficulty of oil production increases, Cluster wells began to more and more widely used. There are many ways to reduce costs, and cluster well drilling technology is an effective means of reducing the cost of drilling. Wellbore trajectory design is one of the cluster well drilling core technology. For different optimization goals, there are many different ways of wellbore trajectory design. Basing on the cluster well drilling cost minimum as the optimization goal, this paper do the optimization design of cluster well trajectory.In the process of drilling directional well, trajectory design mainly includes two-dimensional model of wellbore trajectory design and three-dimensional design of wellbore trajectory model, a lot of drilling parameters affect these models to be established in the process. As the actual conditions permit, giving these drilling parameters in certain range, with the lowest cost as the target, choose the optimal parameters.When designing the initial cluster Wells, what received is only the wellhead and target coordinates, first to select the optimal corresponding relation between the wellhead and the target, making the link of wellhead and target in the horizontal projection disjoint and the quadratic sum of horizontal displacement minimum. This will not only ensure that there is no collision between the tracks of single-well cluster wells, but also initially ensure the shortest of the single well trajectory cluster wells. On this basis, select optimal kick-off point and angle building hole rate which affect single well trajectory design more. In a certain range, select an optimum value of meeting the shortest trajectory design, and then reduce drilling cost to some extent in the direction of well trajectory design.The drilling cycle to some extent also affect the cost of drilling, therefore the drilling cycle is analyzed and the drilling cycle could be forecast from the history drilling data of the block. We make the reasonable arrangements of cluster drilling sequence, shorten the drilling cycle, in order to realize high quality, high speed, low cost and safety drilling.Combined with the actual, orbit model of application based on the cost as constraint for the design of two groups of cluster wells, the result shows that the study is of important significance to reduce the cost of cluster wells.
