With the development of economy and the progress of science and technology,the domestic attention on the topic of environmental protection is increasing,and more and more furniture design materials are selected to meet the needs of appearance and environmental protection.With the implementation and promotion of China’s "two-carbon" development strategy,the 2021 Carbon Peak and carbon neutralization group meeting was held in Beijing for the first time,China’s industrial design is developing from the emphasis on decoration and personalized design to the direction of green,low-carbon and environmental protection,and the safety and environmental protection of its materials have received more and more attention.Through a large number of collection and analysis of relevant references and research,according to the low carbon and environmental protection related theories and product life cycle design concept(LC),through the actual research found that the International Organization for Standardization is relying on the standard to develop ISO14067 product carbon footprint standard,combined with environmental protection furniture physical design and other materials,finally choose bamboo quality as the basis.Before the design and selection of bamboo furniture,the element analyzer method and carbon and sulfur analyzer method are introduced.The principle is to use element testing equipment for accurate measurement.On the basis of this method,the low carbon and environmental protection properties of bamboo are demonstrated by calculating and consulting existing test data.The idea was first developed by Robert E.Hooke proposed to measure the force in direct proportion to the deformation by a constant,often called Young’s modulus or elastic modulus;Understand the traditional handicraft production process and through the actual enterprise processing and production of physical model combined with ergonomic appearance design,on the basis of the minimum use of materials to ensure the stability of furniture.The unique low-carbon advantage of bamboo is demonstrated through the intuitive material carbon content periodic table.After detailed experimental comparison and collection of sufficient data support,the paper tries to give reference suggestions in bamboo furniture design,production process and other aspects.The experimental methods and data can also provide further data reference for the design and experiment of low-carbon products in the future.
