| With the improvement of residents’ income,health awareness and fitness awareness,the number of people participating in fitness sports keeps growing,and so does sports injury.Sports protection can protect athletes and reduce the risk of sports injury,and the sports protection industry has great market development potential.In particular,the COVID-19 outbreak in 2020 has increased people’s enthusiasm for health and sports,but at the same time,many small and medium-sized sports care companies have seen their profits drop or even go out of business.Therefore,under the new development pattern,how to develop sports protection enterprises in the long term and improve the competitive advantage of the global industrial chain has become an important issue.Based on the theory of technological innovation and competitive advantage,this paper analyzes the development status of sports protection industry,and Stange Sports Protection Technology Co.,Ltd.is the research object to study the influence of technological innovation on the competitive advantage of sports protection enterprises in the industrial chain.By field survey,questionnaire survey,online and offline interview and other methods,the development process,competitive advantages,technological advantages and the upstream and downstream of the industrial chain of Stange enterprises were analyzed,and the technological innovation characteristics and competitive advantages of China’s representative sports protection enterprises in the global industrial chain were studied.The case study mainly adopts three methods to empirically test the competitive advantage of technological innovation on the global industrial chain of Stange enterprises.Firstly,according to the GEM model,the evaluation index system of industrial chain competitive advantage is constructed by selecting indexes from three aspects: enterprise,market and foundation.By issuing a certain number of questionnaires to relevant personnel of Stange enterprises,the market competitiveness score of Stange enterprises is obtained by combining the analytic hierarchy process.It is concluded that technological advantage,capital investment,consumers’ perception of the brand and so on all have a great impact on improving the competitive advantage of the global industrial chain.Secondly,the relationship between technological innovation and industrial chain competitive advantage is analyzed from the perspective of global value chain,and it is concluded that in the perspective of global value chain,technological innovation can promote the development of Stange enterprises from OEM-ODM-OBM,so as to improve the competitive advantage of enterprises in the global industrial chain.Finally,from the perspective of financial performance,it is concluded that the R&D input of Stange enterprises has a positive correlation to the competitive advantage of the industrial chain,and the R&D output has a positive correlation to the competitive advantage of the industrial chain,and the R&D cost has a significant advantage to the competitiveness of the industrial chain. |
