| As one of the major contributors to greenhouse gas emissions,the textile and apparel industry is under great pressure for low-carbon transition,and the task of emission reduction is urgent.Standardized accounting of the carbon footprint of products and efficiently application of carbon footprint information are important development directions.However,there are still some problems in the carbon footprint accounting of textile and apparel products,such as the difficulty in tracing the inventory data,the opaque accounting process and the lack of efficient and transparent sharing channels for the accounting results.The above situation leads to high accounting costs,lack of supervision on the standardization of the accounting process,and low efficiency in the application of accounting results.Blockchain has the characteristics of decentralization,traceability,immutable,openness and transparency,which is suitable for introducing traceability into the accounting of textile and apparel carbon footprint products.At present,there are few researches on tracing the carbon footprint of textile and apparel products based on blockchain.Therefore,this paper first takes textile and apparel products as the research object,and systematically analyzes the advantages and feasibility of applying blockchain technology to carbon footprint tracing of textile and apparel products on the basis of summarizing the research status of carbon footprint accounting and the tracing methods of textile and clothing products.Secondly,through combing the work flow of carbon footprint modular accounting of textile and clothing products,analyze the factors that affect the uncertainty of carbon footprint of textile and apparel products,so as to determine the traceability data.Thirdly,combined with the limitations of typical blockchain and the research on improved technologies in data storage and control access,the modular carbon footprint accounting and traceability model of textile and clothing products is established by applying asymmetric encryption and smart contract technologies of blockchain technology.Finally,an example of the above model is given through the case data of the silk scarf product.The main research conclusions are as follows:(1)Traceability data of carbon footprint modular accounting process of textile and apparel products is determined.Determine the data to be traced by analyzing the main factors affecting the uncertainty of accounting results,and divide them into different access authority levels according to the tracing depth.(2)A modular carbon footprint accounting and traceability model for textile and apparel products based on blockchain technology is established.The model can realize the sharing of product carbon footprint information and mutual supervision of the accounting process among the brand side,supplier enterprises,consumers,accounting parties and supervision institutions,and realize the transparent and efficient sharing of product carbon footprint data through the control and access mechanism of product carbon footprint data.(3)Through the data of the silk twill product,the traceability process of "product carbon footprint-module carbon footprint-module carbon footprint accounting method-source data" for the established model is exemplified.Through the model,the carbon footprint of 1kg silk twill is 135.23kgCO2eq,of which the carbon footprint of printing and dyeing sections is the largest,accounting for 27%and 21%respectively,followed by product packaging,weaving and bleaching sections,accounting for 15%,12%and 11%respectively,and finally mulberry planting,silkworm rearing and sewing sections.Each section can be traced to the carbon footprint and accounting process.(4)Through the model,the carbon footprint module is transparent and traceable,providing clearer decision-making information for the brand side’s product design and supply chain restructuring,and the accounting side’s module data call.Realize the comparison of carbon footprint differences between modules in the same section of different products and different process modules of the same product,and trace the carbon footprint accounting method and source data of modules in the model. |
