Climate change is attracting attention of all aspects. Numerous studies show that greenhouse gas emissions caused by human activity is the main cause of the current climate change. To achieve emission reductions governments and relevant agencies have paid a great deal of efforts. While the international trading casues carbon emissions cross-border transfering, which results in carbon emissions is difficult to accurately measured and all goverments cannot comcess an effective division of responsibilities for reduction. Further works for the reduction is facing differences and barriers. Participation in international trade makes China export a lot of commodities, consumed a lot of resources and have to bear the cost of carbon emissions and environmental pollution for other countries. The greenhouse effect caused by carbon emissions is a world problem, its solving depends on an international cooperation to achieve a reasonable reduction. International cooperation in conservation work in the first need to specify the source and flow of goods, in order to ancheive an reasonable division of responsibility for emissions reductions. In this context, the paper analysis international trade in goods flow, with China as the research object, in the perspective of exporting and importing countries studied the flow of embodied carbon and its trend, accounting the embodied carbon distribution over the past two decades and its import and export trends in all sectors in China, and analyzed the flux of exports and the flow of carbon implied for a period. The results show that, during 2002--2010, China’s embodied carbon export are mainly concentrated in seven traditional industries such as oil processing, chemical industry etc., at the same time exports grew fast in other five industries obviously such as communication equipment, transportation, storage and communications etc. During. 1995--2009, about 90 percent of China’s embodied carbon inflows to developed countries, including the United States, Japan and Germany ranked the top three for 15 years. United States is about to get 60%, Japan is about to get 14, Germany about 7%. Flows to developing countries mainly get into Russia, India and Mexico. The embodied carbon India obtained increased significantly. On the basis of this research, select high-emission industries products to analyze, choose the packaging for cement industry as an example, conduct China’s cement packaging life cycle assessment for greenhouse, accounting its carbon footprint, and the analyze the main emission factors. The results show that in 2014 China’s carbon dioxide emissions caused by about cement packaging is about 6.80-10.30 Mt, cement packaging carbon footprint comes mainly from coal-fired power emissions and energy consumption of coal mining process emissions. Increased the use of recycled materials can reduce the carbon footprint of approximately 13.63%-20.12%, achieve a reduction of 5.97 Mt for cement package in 2014.This paper consists of five chapters. First introduced the background of climate change, and the carbon emissions reduction pressure of China for ranked first in emissions in the world. For international responsibility for emissions reductions, domestic and foreign scholars have done a lot of research. The second chapter studied the distribution of embodied carbon of Chinese exports in sectors and export trends of embodied carbon in sectors. The third chapter of the paper conducts an analysis for China’s exports embodied carbon flow and traffic from 1995 to 2009. From the consumer side clearly calculated the amount of carbon emissions China bearing for other countries. The fourth chapter calculated cement packaging carbon footprint in China, life-cycle assessment approach was used to calculate the greenhouse gas emissions in all stages. Finally, propose some policy advice for embodied carbon reduction and cement packaging industry reduction path, and make a research prospect.
