With the rapid development of industrial products,especially the design and production of mechanical and electrical products,China is facing enormous pressure to reduce carbon emissions.At present,the problem of climate change marked by global warming has become a serious challenge for all countries in the world.Starting from the design source and aiming at reducing carbon emissions in the whole life cycle of products,the research on low-carbon product design studies the characteristics of carbon emissions and the correlation between related design elements.This is the basic work for further research in the modern design theory of mechanical and electrical products.Supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and other projects,this paper studies the carbon footprint expression,calculation methods and supporting tools in the design stage of mechanical and electrical products.The main work is as follows:Firstly,the product design expression model based on carbon footprint characteristics is proposed and studied.The characteristics of the product design stage and its design flow are analyzed.The carbon footprint features existing in the scheme design are decomposed and classified,and the product design is carried out.Based on the unit analysis,the product design structure model was established by using the carbon footprint characteristics,and the carbon emission information implicit in the product design scheme was effectively analyzed,and the limited scheme design information was correlated with the carbon footprint.Secondly,the carbon footprint quantitative analysis process for the product life cycle is analyzed.The carbon footprint model of each stage is established.The carbon emission quantitative analysis model based on carbon footprint characteristics is studied.The sensitivity analysis is used to influence the carbon emission of products.Factors are identified and case studies are conducted.Finally,combined with the above research,the hardware footprint carbon footprint evaluation support tool based on Java language was developed by using IntelliJ IDEA software.The development environment and development model of the software system was analyzed,the system architecture,database structure,and the business operation flow of each module were constructed,and the online carbon footprint evaluation of products was realized.
