Research On Manchu Appliqué And Its Application In Modern Home Textile Design

Manchu appliqué is the portrayal of the production,life and development of the fishing and hunting ethnic group,which contains important cultural and artistic research value.With the change of times and the progress of society,appliquésupplies have become rare and collectibles from daily necessities,more over the inheritance and development of Manchu appliqué is also facing significant challenges.Therefore,this paper takes Manchu appliqué as the research object,excavate its excellent cultural and artistic characteristics,exploring its innovative design methods,so that Manchu appliqué with a new look into modern home life.The main contents of this paper are as follows: Firstly,analyzes the evolution and artistic characteristics of Manchu appliqué,which including the characteristics of Manchu appliqué in various historical stages,the characteristics of Manchu appliqué after the influence of Han culture,and the characteristics of Manchu appliqué compared with other ethnic appliqué;As well as excavate the artistic and aesthetic features of pattern,color,craft and material of Manchu appliqué.Secondly,analyzes and summarizes the innovative design methods of Manchu appliqué: its focus on puts forward the innovative design methods of the pattern’s shape,structure,theme,etc.More over,puts forward the color matching method of combining traditional colors with fashionable colors;And propose methods such as combining Manchu appliqué with other appliqué techniques and matching various materials to carry out creative fabric design to improve the practicality and fashion of Manchu appliqué.Thirdly,with modern home textile products as the carrier,the design is carried out around the needs of consumer groups,and the innovation of Manchu appliqué is applied to the household environment of modern people,so as to realize the activation and inheritance of Manchu appliqué.The research results of this paper are as follows:(1)Collate and supplement the historical origin and evolution history of Manchu appliqué;The modeling characteristics,composition form,subject matter and symbolic meaning of Manchu appliqué patterns are analyzed and sorted out,as well as color matching and aesthetic characteristics,and the process and material characteristics of Manchu appliqué are summarized.Analyze and sort out the modeling characteristics,composition forms,themes,symbolic significance,color matching,aesthetic characteristics,etc.of Manchu appliqué patterns,and summarize the process and material characteristics of Manchu appliqué.(2)Summarize the innovative design method of Manchu appliqué,and accroding to the inheritance and innovative design to summarize the principles of maintaining a balance between tradition and fashion;Keep the appropriateness of pattern design;Coordination of color matching;Rationality of technological and material integration and innovation.(3)Applied Manchu appliqué to the design of modern home textile products,and completed the production of a series of supporting products.The research significance of this article is to sort out the historical evolution of Manchu appliqué,analyze its artistic characteristics,and improve the systematicness and integrity of Manchu appliqué reserach.In addition,accroding to applyied Manchu appliqué to the design of modern home textile products,this paper propose innovative design methods and provide methodological reference for the inheritance and design of intangible cultural heritage of ethnic appliqué.
