| Rongshui Miao Autonomous County is located in the northern Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region,Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau Miaoling Mountain extends eastward.The terrain is dominated by rugged mountains,accounting for 85.48% of the land area.According to historical records,Rongshui Miao migrated from north to south in the late Tang Dynasty and early Ming Dynasty.Under the influence of its unique geographical environment and migration history,a highly water-melting embroidery pattern style has been formed.The production method of Rongshui Miao ethnic group,s patch embroidery has undergone a circular transformation from manual production to machine production and then to manual production in modern times,but the only one that remains unchanged for one hundred years is the pattern visual symbol with the characteristics of Rongshui in patch embroidery.Its pattern modeling is a non-rational representational symbol.Looking at the history of clothing,the construction and use of any pattern symbol has its specific social and historical reasons.At the same time,the patch embroidery culture with the characteristics of Rongshui Miao ethnic group was bred in a specific environment.Therefore,in today ’ s cultural protection of ethnic minorities attaches great importance to,from the perspective of semiotics analysis of the causes of the generation and development of embroidery,embroidered embroidered pattern symbol characteristics and embroidered embroidered development present situation,to understand and inherit Rongshui Miao embroidery traditional culture has far-reaching significance.In this paper,literature research,field research,interview forensics and other methods,summed up the symbolic characteristics of Rongshui Miao embroidery patterns,discusses the inheritance and development of Rongshui Miao embroidery production techniques.Under the dual influence of commodity economy and new coronavirus,the sustainable development was considered.The article is divided into four parts,the first part is the introduction,mainly introduces the origin and significance of the topic,research status at home and abroad,research methods and thesis structure.Secondly,a comprehensive analysis of the living environment of Rongshui Miao embroidery,history and culture,production process,and use categories.Then briefly describes the semiotics theory,from the perspective of semiotics to interpret the context,language structure and pragmatics of Rongshui Miao patterns as visual symbols.Finally,this paper analyzes the problems and difficulties of patch embroidery in today social development,and puts forward protection suggestions and new ideas for the better protection,inheritance and development of Rongshui Miao patch embroidery combined with the existing development channels such as government policies,private enterprises,university teaching and We Media Network.At the same time,combined with the case analysis of other ethnic patterns used in modern design,summed up the specific application method of Rongshui Miao embroidery pattern symbols in modern design,applied to specific design practice.In order to study the pattern characteristics,cultural connotation and new ways of modern development of Rongshui Miao embroidery,this paper puts forward a new view of the integration of semiotics and ethnic patterns,and makes a systematic,comprehensive and in-depth analysis of Rongshui Miao embroidery,trying to make a deep interpretation of the symbol form,causes,connotation and significance of its pattern and modern development.This paper analyzes the symbolic context,syntax and semantics of the visual pattern of Rongshui Miao embroidery,analyzes its symbolic significance and analyzes its cultural information of Miao ethnic group.At the same time,it is hoped that the interpretation of Rongshui Miao embroidery from the perspective of semiotics can more comprehensively explain the past and present of embroidery,so that the public can better understand this excellent traditional skill,arouse people ’ s sense of identity to ethnic culture,and protect and inherit ethnic culture through this way.In order to provide reference for the modern sustainable development of other intangible cultural heritage and traditional crafts. |
