A majority of the Miao people call the southeast of Guizhou Province their homeland,their has a variety and unique styles of embroidery techniques.It is not difficult to master the technique of embroidery,but its pattern and color style are the crystallization of local ethnic culture.However,due to the progress and development of modern industry,mass industrial products flooded the market,and this traditional folk handicraft gradually darkened.The author hopes to make the traditional handicraft vigor again,therefore,the author through field visits and access to many books and materials,want to be able to show for everyone the applique’s unique cultural charm,at the same time,the author will also according to the demand of modern market,innovative design was carried out on the applique attempt.
