Buzi is a fabric in the form of a square or circle decorated with a specific pattern on the front and back of a mend.With the final establishment of the mendicant system,the pattern of Buzi embroidered on the mendicants also had a clear specification and definition.Usually,civil officials embroidered with birds,flying with wings,in order to see civilization;military officials embroidered with beasts,either squatting or standing,to show their might.Not only was the Buzi pattern exquisite and beautiful,it was also a symbol of good luck and symbolism.It is worth studying and exploring both the aesthetic form and the traditional cultural meaning of the pattern itself.In the context of preserving traditional culture,modern design and aesthetics are used to integrate the Buzi culture into people’s lives,so that it can be updated in the development of the times and give people a richer visual and emotional experience.This paper takes the civilian’s Buzi pattern in Qing Dynasty as the research object,and firstly summarizes the origin and composition of the Buzi pattern through literature research method,and analyzes the artistic characteristics of the civilian’s Buzi pattern in Qing Dynasty in detail;Secondly,we analyze the innovative application of traditional patterns to provide reference and guidance for the innovative application of the civilian’s Buzi pattern in Qing Dynasty;Finally,we explore the innovative application principles and methods of the civilian’s Buzi pattern in Qing Dynasty from the perspective of innovative design application.On this basis,we analyze its innovative application in graphics,composition and color,and closely combine it with modern style through the method of theory and practice,so as to play a positive role in the inheritance and development of traditional patterns.In the specific innovative design,the main pattern of the civilian’s Buzi pattern in Qing Dynasty is combined with other auxiliary patterns with auspicious symbolic meaning,and several new patterns with auspicious symbolic meaning are created through deformation and reorganization.Through this design,modern design consciousness is injected into the civilian’s Buzi pattern in Qing Dynasty,and the cultural connotation of the traditional Buzi pattern is inherited and continued in a new way,and the Buzi pattern is inherited and developed under the influence of modern art trends.
