Research On The Semiotic Design Of Buzi In Official Clothing Of The Qing Dynasty

The Buzi pattern of Qing Dynasty's official dress takes the Qing Dynasty's official dress as the carrier,which not only plays the role of decoration and beautification,but also has obvious symbolic characteristics,which has important practical significance for distinguishing the level and status of officials.Semiotics is of great significance to the study of the nature and development of symbols and the relationship between symbols and human activities.From the perspective of semiotics,the Buzi pattern of the Qing Dynasty's official dress is a symbol reflecting the social culture of the Qing Dynasty,and it is also the most intuitive artistic phenomenon to judge the ranking system of the Qing Dynasty officials.This thesis takes the Buzi pattern of Qing Dynasty's official dress as the main research object,and uses Charles William Morris' s Semiotics to analyze and discuss.The first chapter specifically analyzes the historical and cultural background and semiotic theory of the Qing Dynasty's official dress patterns,and discusses the application of the Qing Dynasty's official dress patterns in contemporary design from three aspects of structure,semantics and pragmatics.First of all,from the pattern characteristics,color performance,symbol characteristics and aesthetic analysis of the Buzi pattern of Qing Dynasty's official dress,the thesis makes a morphological analysis;secondly,it makes a semantic analysis from the implication and performance value of the Buzi pattern of Qing Dynasty's official dress.Finally,the thesis makes a pragmatic analysis of the application of the Buzi pattern of Qing Dynasty's official dress in modern design life.On the basis of this theoretical system,the Pattern features of Buzi of Qing Dynasty‘s official dress are selected,refined,reconstructed and combined,and the modern design techniques and principles are combined for re-innovative design.
