Study On The Relationship Between Safety Citizenship Behavior,Safety Leadership And Safety Climate In Construction

The complex working conditions,human flow,and ever-changing environment of construction projects lead to frequent safety production accidents,so effective control of construction safety accidents is currently a hot research topic.The focus of research on the causes of accidents in the construction industry has shifted from "explicit factors" such as construction environment,operating conditions,and security technology to "implicit factors" such as safety leadership,safety climate,and safety citizenship behavior.In order to conduct in-depth research on the influencing factors of safety citizenship behavior,as well as the relationship between safety citizenship behavior and safety leadership and safety climate,the paper explores the antecedent mechanisms and internal mechanisms of safety citizenship behavior.At the same time,combined with the special background of construction,it studies the relationship between safety leadership of managers and safety citizenship behavior and safety climate of construction workers,and the mediating relationship of safety climate.Firstly,the paper assumes the antecedents and influencing factors of safety citizenship behavior at the individual and psychological levels,defines the connotations and dimensions of safety citizenship behavior,safety leadership,safety climate,safety accomplishment,safety skill,safety investment,and safety psychology,and assumes that the internal influencing factors of safety citizenship behavior are its four dimensions.Secondly,the paper assumes that there is a direct and mediating relationship between safety citizenship behavior and safety leadership and safety climate.It proposes the theoretical hypothesis and model of the influencing factors of safety citizenship behavior,the theoretical hypothesis and model of the relationship between safety citizenship behavior and safety leadership,safety climate,the theoretical hypothesis and model of safety climate mediating safety leadership and safety citizenship behavior,the theoretical hypothesis and model of safety climate mediating safety psychology and safety citizenship behavior.Thirdly,the paper develops an adaptive scale for each variable,and based on the collected data from the questionnaire survey,uses SPSS and AMOS statistical analysis software to conduct reliability and effectiveness tests on the data.The paper uses structural equation modeling method to empirically test the hypothesis model.By studying the influencing factors of safety citizenship behavior and the relationship between safety citizenship behavior,safety leadership,and safety climate,the paper not only expands and enriches theoretical research on safety citizenship behavior,safety leadership,and safety climate,but also provides practical ideas for promoting safety citizenship behavior in construction.The main conclusions of the paper are as follows:(1)The antecedent influencing factors of safety citizenship behavior are safety accomplishment,safety skill,safety investment at individual level and safety psychology at psychological level.Safety accomplishment positively promotes safety citizenship behavior,the path coefficient is 0.456.Safety skill positively promotes safety citizenship behavior,the path coefficient is 0.345.Safety investment positively promotes safety citizenship behavior,the path coefficient is 0.368.Safety psychology positively promotes safety citizenship behavior,the path coefficient is 0.315.(2)Safety leadership positively promotes safety citizenship behavior,the path coefficient is 0.192.(3)Safety climate positively promotes safety citizenship behavior,the path coefficient is 0.305.(4)Safety leadership positively promotes Safety climate,the path coefficient is 0.586.(5)Safety climate intermediates Safety leadership and safety citizenship behavior,indirect effect coefficient is 0.178.Safety climate intermediates safety psychology and safety citizenship behavior,indirect effect coefficient is0.170.Safety climate positively promotes safety psychology,the path coefficient is 0.559.
