The cleaning problem of pulse-jet cartridge dust collector has always been a difficult problem to be solved in industry,the root cause of the filter cleaning problem lies in the uneven flow state of the pulse-jet,there is a large number of research shows that the induced ejector can improve the internal airflow structure of the cartridge to optimize the excellent effect of cartridge cleaning performance,but most of the current research on the cleaning performance of pulse-jet cartridge dust collector focuses on vertical structures and some horizontal ones,and there are few reports on the cleaning performance of horizontal long cartridges.Although the horizontal extension of long horizontal cartridges is important to reduce the cost per unit area of the dust collector and increase the air volume per unit the of the dust collector,the extension of the filter aggravates the uneven distribution of the flow field inside the cartridge again and deteriorates the cleaning effect of the cartridge surface.Therefore,the cleaning method and cleaning parameters of the horizontal long cartridge need to be further adjusted.In this paper,based on the research results of pulse cartridge dust collectors,a new type of curved induced ejector is proposed to meet the requirements of the horizontal long cartridge cleaning process based on the typical induced ejector.(1)Analysis of the effect of typical induced ejectors on the cleaning effectiveness of horizontal long filter cartridges.The pulse-jet under the venturi will generate high pressure on the wall of the filter cartridge,but the high-speed airflow in this state will cause a large impact on the bottom of the filter cartridge,leading to the problem of uneven pressure distribution on the wall of the filter;although the pulse-jet under the diversion diffuser will expand in the radial basin of the gas and produce the effect of uniform distribution of wall pressure,the overall level of airflow velocity is low and can’t achieve effective stripping of attached dust.Based on summarizing the structural characteristics of the typical induced ejector,the new induced ejector adopts the double optimization of structural configuration and structural parameters,and its structure consists of an airflow acceleration zone and an airflow dispersion zone.The airflow acceleration area adopts a conical tapering tube with a contraction angle of34°and a curved induction structure to enhance the gas induction capability,and the airflow dispersion area adopts a scattering device with a taper of 59°,and the combination of the two forms the final new curved induction ejector.(2)The airflow pattern under the new curved induced ejector is similar to that of the diversion diffuser,with the pulse jet expanding widely in the radial basin,but the velocity of the airflow dispersed by the curved induced ejector is 8%-57%higher than that of the diversion diffuser,which means that the new curved one not only has the good airflow homogenization effect of the diffuser,but also has the high momentum motion state that is missing from the diversion diffuser;verification of the optimization capability of the new curved induced ejector through cold pulse-jet experiments revealed that the new curved one has a higher pressure intensity than the diversion diffuser and a lower pressure coefficient of variation than the venturi,which optimized the cleaning performance of the horizontal long filter cartridge,and this conclusion was consistent with the experimental results under dust loading conditions,and the two were mutually verified.(3)Experimental study of online cleaning under multiple operating parameters of the new curved induced ejector was conducted to compare the effects of three factors:pulse-jet pressure,filtration speed,and gas-solid concentration on the operating status of the horizontal long filter cartridge dust collector,and the results show that:the new curved induced ejector has the best cartridge cleaning effect at a pulse-jet pressure of 0.4MPa;the horizontal long filter cartridge dust collector under the new curved induced ejector is able to operate normally at a filtration air speed of 1m/min;the gas-solid concentration of 20-40g/m~3 is able to maintain a stable operating status inside the horizontal long filter cartridge dust collector.
