The horizontal cartridge filter not only has the advantages of high dust cleaning efficiency of the vertical cartridge filter,but also can control the height,which is especially suitable for highly restricted places.However,there are still few related researches on horizontal cartridge filter.Although they are similar to vertical cartridge filter dust collectors in terms of structure and components,there are still significant differences and lack of relevant structural design and dust cleaning parameters.Therefore,based on the relevant research on vertical cartridge filter,this article focused on the horizontal cartridge filter in the cleaning structure and cleaning parameters,using three different nozzle types(pulse-jet pipe,venturi,diffuser nozzle)comparative analysis of the dust cleaning effect of the horizontal cartridge filter,and then further researched on the effect of dust removal performance under the best nozzle type and dust cleaning parameters.(1)Research on the effect of pulse-jet dust cleaning based on different nozzle types.The main conclusions are as follows:under the three nozzles,the pressure peaks of the long side and short side of the filter cartridge first increase and then decrease with the increase of the jet distance,and the long side of the cartridge filter is the most unfavorable side for cleaning.The pulse-jet pipe and the venturi show similar pressure values at the front and middle measuring points(P1,P2),but are more than 600 Pa different from the rear measuring point(P3).The large difference in the force of the filter cartridge can easily lead to uneven cleaning and local damage.The peak pressure of the diffuser nozzle is distributed between 500 Pa and 900 Pa,and the difference between the measuring points is not more than 200 Pa.Judging from the effect of the pulse-jet experiment under the clean experimental,the diffuser nozzle has a uniform cleaning force and meets the cleaning requirements,which is better than pulse-jet pipe and venturi.(2)Research on the dynamic process of pulse-jet dust cleaning based on different nozzle types.The results showed that the cleaning effect of different parts under the pulse-jet pipe was significantly uneven.Only the rear end of the cartridge filter had an obvious cleaning effect,while the front middle of the filter cartridge had little effect.When using a venturi,a small part of the dust in the first half of the filter cartridge is peeled off,and the main cleaning is still concentrated in the middle and back sections.When using the diffuser nozzle,the cleaning effect runs through the entire filter cartridge,and the cleaning is more uniform.In addition,the length of the diffuser nozzle is shorter than the traditional venturi,and the required pulse-jet distance is smaller,so the horizontal space is saved.(3)Research on on-line dust cleaning performance of pulse-jet horizontal cartridge filter under multi-parameters.On the basis of the previous experimental results,the impact of the three important parameters of pulse width,dust particle size and filtration velocity on the dust cleaning performance of horizontal cartridge filter was explored.It was found that similar to the results of previous studies by many scholars,increasing the pulse width has little effect on the overall dust cleaning performance.For different particle sizes,the dust residual amount at5μm is reduced by 10%~20%compared with 30μm.The filtration velocity has the most significant impact on the dust cleaning effect and system operation.The system runs stably at0.6 m/min,and the outlet dust concentration is below 1 g/m~3.When the filtration velocity increases,the system operation resistance rises faster and requires more cleaning time to drop to a stable level,and the air volume that can be handled by the same system resistance is also reduced.It can be seen that running at a relatively low filtration velocity can maintain the stable operation of the dust removal system,reduce energy consumption,and achieve ultra-low emissions.
