Improving the efficiency and quality of mineral processing design is the goal pursued by researchers,and the application of computer-aided design technology is the main technical way to achieve this goal.Now,the application of virtual reality technology has brought new ideas to the computer-aided design of mineral processing plants.Using Unreal Engine 4,Solidworks and 3ds Max,the research on the assisted design of typical flotation process based on VR technology has been carried out,and the computer aided design system of typical flotation process based on virtual reality technology was also developed.The main conclusions are shown as follows:(1)Using the Blueprint programming mechanism of Unreal Engine4,to complete the parametric expression of the typical flotation flowsheet structure.On this basis,associating the flowsheet structure and the storage location of the array,the accurate positioning when the data is searched,modified and called was realized.The program design of the flotation flowsheet and equipment calculation was done based on the modularization of program,and the calculation of index and equipment for the different flotation flowsheet was meet implemented through the calling of the associated data between different modules.(2)Using the Solidworks and 3ds Max software,the creation and optimization of standard equipment and non-standard equipment sample3 D models and materials were done.With the help of variables such as mapping,vector and Actor blueprint classes in Unreal Engine4,realizing the adjustment of 3D model materials,coordinate axes,animation production and blueprint class packaging.By establishing the equipment characteristic database,the parameter-driven flotation workshop 3D visualization design has been preliminarily realized,which has significantly improved the operating efficiency of the system.Based on the blueprint compilation,combined with the equipment configuration specification of the flotation workshop,the automatic positioning and generation of the model coordinates of the flotation equipment,plant structure,operation platform,crane,etc.have been implemented by presetting the initial coordinate axis of the equipment 3D model.(3)Based on the UMG editor in Unreal Engine 4,the design and production of various functional UI interfaces were also realized.And the data sharing between control blueprints and class blueprints were also found by blueprint communication;The.obg and fbx files were used in the communication between Solidworks and 3ds Max,and the communication between 3ds Max and Unreal Engine 4,respectively,which the 3D model’s information was preserved essentially.(4)Based on the UE4 virtual reality platform,as well as Solidworks and 3ds Max platforms,a typical flotation process computer aided design system based on VR technology was initially developed.The system can satisfy the calculation of quantity,quality and pulp index,the calculation of equipment selection and 3D visualization design of equipment layout for typical flotation process with polymetallic,multi-cycle,and middling sequential return.It provides some guidance and reference for the application of virtual reality technology in computer aided design of mineral processing plant. |
