Material transportation is one of the most important links in open-pit mine production,and the cost of transportation system usually accounts for more than half of the total production cost.The truck-shovel system is a common material handling system in open-pit mines.In the production stage of open-pit mine,reasonable equipment type,quantity,layout and truck allocation can effectively improve the utilization rate of equipment,increase the overall operating efficiency of the system and enhance economic benefits.In this paper,an optimization method of equipment configuration in open-pit mine based on simulation environment is proposed,and the simulation environment model of truckshovel system in open-pit mine is built by using the discrete simulation software Flexsim.In the simulation environment,the operating efficiency of the system is evaluated and the system is optimized,so as to optimize the equipment configuration and truck allocation strategy of the system.The main research contents and results of this paper are as follows:(1)The basic structural characteristics and production process of the truck-shovel system in open-pit mine are analyzed,and the best simulation platform is determined after comparing the several common discrete simulation software.The key evaluation indexes in the system optimization evaluation model are constructed.(2)The overall macro layout and basic entity model of the open-pit mine system are constructed based on Flexsim.The system is divided into three main subsystems: loading area,unloading area and transportation line.Considering the uncertainty and dynamic characteristics of the system,the entity objects in each subsystem are modeled,and the attributes of entities themselves and the interactive logic among entities are established.(3)The micro-simulation modeling of the system is realized based on Flexsim’s own function and secondary development function.Including truck operation control,equipment failure and maintenance,collision detection,etc.,and the simulation model is optimized to make the model more realistic and reliable.(4)Based on a mine example,the simulation model of the truckshovel system is verified and optimized.Evaluate the current system initial equipment configuration and truck allocation method,and propose improvement schemes.The goal is to improve the system equipment utilization rate and production capacity on the premise of completing the production requirements,and finally get the equipment types,quantity and layout with the best overall efficiency.The experimental results show that the dynamic truck allocation has obvious optimization effect compared with the fixed truck allocation when the queuing phenomenon is serious.
