The paper aims at the problem of shovel selection and truck combinationalternative for surface coal mine shovel-truck system. It is one of most importantdecision problems in surface mine design. In order to achieve the research target, thepaper protocols three aspects research content. They are selection of shovel and truckcombination alternative for surface mine shovel-truck system, the match numberbetween truck and shovel based on reliability analysis of shovel-truck system andproduction dispatching of shovel-truck system.When selecting of shovel, we should consider the factors not only the Workenvironment conditions, but also another three major factors: the requirements ofproduction scale, requirements of mining engineering development, equipmentreliability. After selecting of shovel, the paper puts forward the method of geneticalgorithm that it is widely used to solve the combinatorial problems for truckcombination alternative.A focal point for trucks, shovel-truck system is a kind of cycle operation system.From the perspective of equipment reliability, shovel-truck system is a kind ofrepairable system. If regarding excavator as "service desk", truck as "service object"-"customer", shovel-truck system is a kind of finite source queue system. The paperpoints out that we can build repairable queuing system to simulate shovel-truckoperating system. It is obtained the shovel-truck system reliability calculation formula.Based on these, taking mining benches as reliability analysis object, miningengineering overall reliability is obtained..In order to guarantee high reliability, paper selects excavator total loading time toa minimum as the optimization goal, for the optimization match number betweentruck and shovel.Further close to the mine production site, this paper puts forward thearrangement of the mine production basing on the mining planning of material flowduring a given period of time. Mine logistics planning model is constructed todetermine the excavator and truck configuration during mining.Finally, the paper selects Haerwusu surface coal mine actual production situationas well as2013production plan as the case study object。The simulation results of isgood.
