Scrapers is equipment of mine loading,which can accomplish shoveling,transportation,loading and unloading,and it usually works in mines with complex geological conditions,loud noise,and high geothermal pressure.With the implementation of the ore deep mining plan,the working environment of the scraper has further deteriorated.recently,due to appearance of remote-controlled scrapers,it’s unnecessary for scraper drivers to work in dangerous roadway working environments.However,remote-controlled scrapers have been around for a short time,their popularity is low,and many factors such as lack of driver experience affect the performance of remote-controlled scrapers..Therefore,using the pre-analysis function of virtual reality technology to study the key points of the design of the remote control scraper,and discussing the key points of the remote control scraper design in combination with the user’s experience,has important practical significance for the popularization of the remote control scraper and the realization of intelligent mines.The main research contents of the paper are:(1)Taking the remote control scraper as the research object,analyze the application situation and the current problems of the remote control scraper.The domestic and foreign literatures are reviewed to understand the research status and development trend of scrapers and virtual reality technology at home and abroad,and the convenience and necessity of applying virtual reality technology to the research of remote scrapers are put forward.(2)Analyze the composition and action characteristics of the remote control scraper,and use 3D Max to create the scraper model and mine model.The model is further developed in Unity 3D.Develop a remote control scraper operating system based on virtual reality.Analyze the underlying structure and operation mode of each subsystem.Add virtual reality functions to the system in Steam VR,create a virtual environment,and develop a driving simulator as a hardware platform for subsequent simulation testing.Through experimental analysis,the developed remote control scraper operation system has basic operation functions and meets the needs of research and development.(3)Based on Mysql language,develop a remote control scraper safety driving evaluation system to record the number of collisions between scrapers and obstacles,changes in driving speed,and braking efficiency.Design the driving performance test of the scraper in the virtual environment,collect the behavior information of the driver in the virtual environment when driving at a constant speed,turning sharply,encountering emergencies and following the vehicle,collecting the working data of the scraper,and collecting user experience opinions,Lay the foundation for the subsequent performance test of the physical scraper.After testing and evaluation by volunteers,the overall performance data of the virtual reality-based remote control scraper met the expected standards.(4)In order to verify the accuracy of the design of the simulated scraper model,upgrade the JCCY-6 scraper and carry out performance evaluation.The remote scraper operating system is divided into: communication control system,hydraulic control system according to functions.system,environmental perception system and remote control system.The results show that the mining efficiency of the remote-controlled scraper system after pre-analysis and design by virtual reality accounts for about 65% of the manual mining efficiency.The evaluation results show that the development of the scraper based on virtual reality technology is highly advanced.(5)The remote-control scraper designed based on virtual reality technology has the function of remote mining,achieves the expected performance target,realizes the intrinsic safety isolation of man and machine,greatly improves the working environment of scraper operators,and reduces labor intensity.Thereby improving work efficiency,shortening production and R&D cycles,reducing R&D costs,improving product functions,providing theoretical guidance and design references for subsequent researchers,and having significant safety and social benefits.83 pictures,5 tables,references:89...
