After systematically sorting out the research results of many scholars on performance management and relevant theories of KPI,OKR and other latest management assessment methods,this paper takes SD Company as a case study.SD company was founded in 1996,benefiting from the reform and opening up and the rapid development of the industry,SD company has experienced the development process from private small workshop to enterprise scale production and then to joint-stock company.However,with the further development of the company,restricted by the two external environmental factors of the novel coronavirus epidemic prevention and control and the twocarbon peak,the development of the industry has ushered in a new inflection point.How to improve the quality and efficiency of the company’s development through organizational reform,strategic adjustment and optimization of performance management plan? Entering the new higher and more challenging track has become a new task and challenge for mediumsized enterprises like SD Company.Firstly,through questionnaire survey and in-depth interview,data were collected on the impact of the current performance management system,process and performance incentive of SD Company on employees and the company,and then the collected data were processed and analyzed with performance management knowledge.Secondly,focusing on the current situation of performance management in the context of organizational structure reform of SD company and how to optimize it,taking the organizational structure reform,performance management implementation and performance incentive strategy of SD company as the main research objects,and referring to the research results of other literatures on performance management of small and medium-sized enterprises through literature research method,Put forward appropriate performance management optimization suggestions according to the actual situation of SD company;Thirdly,by summarizing the problems in the implementation process of performance management of SD company,the typical problems in the implementation process of performance management of SD company are found to be analyzed and understood,which provides the basis for how to solve the performance management problems of SD company;Fourthly,based on the interaction between the organizational structure change of SD company and the introduction of performance management system,from the organizational structure change to ensure the effective implementation of performance management system,how to improve the effectiveness of organizational management through the implementation of performance management system complementary relationship,to put forward an optimization plan for the implementation of performance management of SD company;Finally,the case study of SD Company is summarized to provide a sample reference for the transformation and development,quality and efficiency improvement of Chinese small and medium-sized enterprises.The development of small and medium-sized enterprises is bound to face the dual pressure of organizational structure reconstruction and organizational efficiency activation.Only solving one problem can’t really solve the dilemma of enterprise development.However,the implementation of performance management under the background of organizational structure reform often tests the management wi SD om of managers and the practical application of management theory.The SD company selected in this paper is currently implementing performance management under the background of major adjustment of organizational structure,so it has caused huge changes within the enterprise and staff resistance.By introducing theoretical research and combining with the actual situation of SD company,this paper tries to come up with solutions for the current predicament faced by the enterprise.
