| The printing and dyeing wastewater contains a large amount of methylene blue and gentian violet,which are harmful to human beings and the environment,and are recognized as the priority pollutants in water bodies worldwide.This article uses agricultural and forestry waste fungus bran as raw material,and uses KOH chemical activation method to prepare fungus bran based activated carbon.The specific surface area(BET),scanning electron microscopy(SEM),Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR),X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS)and other experimental methods are used to analyze and test the physical and chemical properties of fungus bran based activated carbon samples,Furthermore,it effectively explores the potential of specific biomass based activated carbon to remove dye ions from printing and dyeing wastewater.With methylene blue solution as a model compound,the effects of activation temperature,activation time,adsorption conditions(amount of adsorbent,initial concentration of solution and p H value of solution)on the performance of the adsorbent to remove methylene blue and gentian violet were systematically studied,and the adsorption kinetics,adsorption isotherm and internal diffusion kinetics of the adsorbent were also studied.(1)The results of the study on the preparation of bacteria bran carbon showed that the specific surface area first increased and then decreased with the increase of activation temperature.When the activation temperature was 780℃,the specific surface area reached the maximum value of1158.79 m2/g.The prepared M9 adsorbent had the best adsorption performance for methylene blue solution.The maximum adsorption capacity for methylene blue is 239.85 mg/g when the adsorption temperature is 30℃,the adsorbent is 0.3 g,and the solution p H is 7.(2)The results of the study on the structure and adsorption performance of bacteria bran Biochar materials show that bacteria bran carbon materials are mainly composed of C and O elements,and there are a large number of carbon and oxygen containing functional groups on the surface,such as carbonyl,hydroxyl,aromatic compounds,etc.The presence of these functional groups can improve adsorption performance.With the increase of p H value of solution,methylene blue molecules are easier to dissociate into negatively charged ions,which makes it easier for bacteria bran carbon to remove them.(3)The order of removal performance of different adsorbents for methylene blue is:M9>M12>M11.Under appropriate conditions,the adsorption capacities of M9,M12 and M11 for methylene blue are 239.85 mg/g,228.53 mg/g and 210.66 mg/g respectively.The adsorption processes of the three adsorbents all follow a quasi second-order kinetic model.The adsorption of M11 adsorbent on solution follows the Freundlich isotherm adsorption model.The adsorption of M9 and M12 on the solution follows the Langmuir isotherm adsorption model.All belong to self releasing heat process,and adsorption is mainly single-layer adsorption.Adsorption is carried out byπ-πand hydrogen bond interaction and Hydrophobic effect. |
