Activated carbon, which is made from abundant carbon content as raw material by carbonization and activation,is an excellent environment-friendly adsorption material with abundant pore structure and high specific surface area.Activated carbon has a wide and important application in various fields because of its abundant raw materials and high safety, acid and alkali resistant, heat resistance, insoluble in water and organic solvents, and easy regeneration. In this study, the effects of different carbonization raw materials, different activators and different activation temperatures on the adsorption properties of activated carbon were investigated by using carbonized coconut shell charcoal and walnut shell carbon as raw materials. At the same time, the adsorption kinetics simulation and isothermal adsorption fitting of activated carbon with the most adsorption methylene blue amount were carried out. Then the activated carbon filler added to the preparation of PU Composite film was determined by adsorption parameters, and the related performance characterization of the activated PU Composite film was studied. The results of the study are as follows:(1)Activator A(oxalic acid)and activator B(potassium carbonate and sodium bicarbonate)were used to activate coconut shell and walnut shell charcoal at four temperature of 600,700,800 and 900.Then heavy metal ion adsorption and the methylene blue solution adsorption test were made for activated carbon(this test can indirectly reflect the specific surface area of activated carbon). The results showed that the specific surface area of coconut shell activated carbon prepared by Activator B at 800℃ was the largest,496.96m2/g,and the methylene blue solution adsorption amount of activated carbon prepared on condition that it was activated used activator B at 800℃ was the largest, which was 202.84mg/g.Meanwhile the adsorption of chromium ions was the most activated carbon by activator A in 700℃ and its maximum adsorption amount is 14.31 mg/g.(2)The coconut shell activated carbon which was soaked in oxalic acid at four temperatures was added into the PU film casting fluid as filler to prepare PU composite membrane material.A series of membrane performance characterization tests were carried out on the prepared composite film. The results showed that when the coconut shell carbon loaded with 600℃ activated carbon was used as filler, the film formation rate of the composite membrane, which is up to 23.51,was the largest. And the film forming rate increases with the increase of the packing proportion. The water flux is the largest when the filling ratio of 900℃ is added to 0.4%,which can reach 61.675 L/(m2·h).After adding filler, the porosity of PU composite film increased by at least 50%more than that of pure PU membrane.
