Diet is an indispensable part of life,and “people take food as the sky” successfully interprets the status of diet.China is a vast country,with many ethnic cultures and different ethnic cultures,and different regional eating habits.As far as the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region is concerned,it is located in the northwest border of China,so most of the dietary ingredients are self-sufficient,and ethnic minorities are concentrated,so their eating habits are multi-ethnic customs.Food culture is the carrier of national spirit,and food culture can reflect the unique humanities of Xinjiang.However,the spread of food culture to children is relatively simple.Therefore,this paper conducts research and discussion based on the food culture in Xinjiang,goes deep into Tekes County,Ili Kazakh Autonomous Prefecture,Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region,to experience the local eating habits and customs,and expands the target audience through the cultural communication form of children’s picture books.On the one hand,let Chinese mainland children understand Xinjiang’s characteristic food culture,and promote the development of regional parent-child tourism through this form;On the other hand,local children in Xinjiang can enhance their cultural identity and cultural self-confidence,and continue to inherit and carry forward the national culture.At the same time,picture book derivatives can further enrich local cultural and creative products.Through literature research,case studies,analysis and induction,fieldwork and other methods,this paper investigates and analyzes the food culture and children’s picture books in Tekes County,analyzes the existing problems in the design and application of food culture elements in Tekes County,and strives to solve problems by designing the “Tekes Food Bazaar”series of children’s picture books.Firstly,this paper analyzes the relevant concepts of children’s picture books,and elaborates the main categories and structures of children’s picture books;Secondly,the overall analysis of the food culture in Tekes County was carried out,and the main dietary elements of the local area were summarized,which provided a realistic basis for the design practice of picture books.Then,combined with the current situation and problems of dietary element design and application in Tekes County,the solution is sorted out.Through anthropomorphism,simplification,and exaggerated amplification,animal characters such as marmots,ibexes and snow leopards are combined with foods such as yogurt,naan,and roasted meats to describe how local cuisine is cooked.It adds interaction such as finding things and walking mazes,and popular science knowledge links such as wheat germination to enrich the story content;Finally,the design of children’s picture books for food culture in Tekes County was completed,and cultural and creative products such as puzzles and pillows were derived,which can be practically applied to the consumer market of Tekes County and drive cultural inheritance and tourism economic development. |
