Study On The Change Of Chinese Cheongsam Style And Its Innovative Design

As a traditional dress for Chinese women,cheongsam originated from the "Manchu costume" of Manchu.Its vicissitude and popularity mainly experienced the late Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China.As the main dress of women in modern China,cheongsam is the witness of the great change of modern women’s dressing style.As a cultural carrier,cheongsam culture reflects the historical background,economic level and social form of modern times.The current cheongsam is improved from the Cheongsam of the Republic of China.Its silhouette,collar,front,sleeve,slit,plate button and other elements have gone through a hundred years of changes and become the symbol of the cheongsam.Nowadays,cheongsam is mainly used as a traditional dress for daily wear or attending important occasions.In recent years,with the emphasis on traditional culture,cheongsam has appeared more and more in people’s eyes.In domestic and foreign shows,designers extensively draw on the elements of cheongsam to design,making the cheongsam stand on the international stage and become an important representative of Chinese traditional female dress culture.This paper explores the profound connotation of cheongsam culture and its design inheritance by studying the typical style of cheongsam style,the vicissitude process of cheongsam,the current innovative design of cheongsam,design case analysis,design practice and design prospect.In the representative part of cheongsam style,Shanghai cheongsam and Beijing and Tianjin cheongsam are taken as the main representatives to show the similarities and differences of cheongsam styles in the north and south regions.In the part of the change process of cheongsam,the traditional cheongsam is actively explored,the reasons for the change are analyzed,the change process of each stage is discussed,the influencing factors under the change are analyzed and summarized,and the drawing is displayed.In the part of innovative design,for qipao design,innovation includes design concept,design method,technical support and so on.The article in the style,fabric,color,pattern,technology and intelligent and digital influence of in-depth research,looking for innovative design methods.In the design practice part,through the analysis of domestic and foreign cases and design practice,the application of cheongsam innovative design is discussed.Finally,this paper makes a long-term plan for the design and dissemination of cheongsam,and puts forward effective design directions according to the problems existing in the inheritance and innovation of traditional culture.
