| Since the reform and opening up,with the rapidly developed economy, the damage to water resources by human has become more and more serious.Especially in the vast rural areas, farmers have begun to realize the indispensability and protection of water resources.Groundwater pollution in Yantai City is concentrated in Zhifu District,Laizhou City, and Longkou City.Groundwater pollution in Zhifu District and Laizhou City is closely related to urban industrial development, while pollution in Longkou City is mostly concentrated in rural areas such as the suburbs and most of the nitrates are closely related to residents’ lifestyle in Longkou City.Pollution caused by human activities is one of the most common types of pollution in rural areas. In recent years,Longkou City has conscientiously implemented the requirements of the central and provincial governments, devoted itself to solving problems of the rural domestic sewage treatment, and achieved remarkable results. However, the problem of water pollution in some villages is still serious, such as random discharge of domestic sewage and excessive use of chemical fertilizers.Under the active publicity of the local government, farmers began to understand the local groundwater pollution situation, and actively taken part in and affirmed the government’s prevention and control measures for groundwater pollution in recent years. However, the farmers’ participation in groundwater pollution prevention and control measures needs to be further improved.Longkou City is located in the middle of the northern margin of Jiaodong Peninsula,Shandong province, close to the Bohai Sea.The main sources of groundwater supply are atmospheric precipitation and infiltration of surface water. The quality of surface water directly affects and restricts the quality of groundwater. In this paper, the rural area of Longkou City was selected as the investigation object, and the problem of groundwater pollution prevention and source protection process in the typical coastal areas in northern China as the main research content, the investigation research was studied based on the perspective of peasant household participation.First of all,we conducted interviews with farmers and assisted in data collection through questionnaires. It can be clearly seen that most farmers are under pressure from the government rather than actively participating in local groundwater pollution control measures, which is not conducive to the implementation of the policy and will have a negative impact on groundwater pollution control. One of the main reasons affecting groundwater is the excessive use of chemical fertilizers and domestic sewage irrigation in the production process of farmers. This article provides a questionnaire on the prevention and control measures of groundwater pollution-soil testing and fertilization and household sewage purification equipment, and interviews with farmers.According to the survey data, whether farmers are willing to participate in groundwater pollution prevention and control measures will be affected by factors such as financial subsidies, farmers’ income, measure expenditure, farmers’ education background, and farmers’ identity.According to the results of the data analysis, the higher the farmers degree, the higher the cadres in the village, the participation of groundwater pollution control measures is higher,at the same time, the farmer’s income also affects the participation of farmers, groundwater income, the higher the more concerned about the local environmental quality, also more willing to actively participate in the rural groundwater pollution prevention and control work.On the other hand, while the living cost of farmers remains unchanged or reduced, the government’s financial support plays a significant role. When the government subsidy policy is implemented in place and the popularization area is wide, the willingness of farmers to prevent and control groundwater pollution measures can be greatly increased. Therefore,in the related treatment of underground pollution prevention and control, the government mainly plays a leading role in guiding farmers to participate in local environmental protection activities, and be the masters of environmental protection,so as to improve the quality of groundwater, improve the environment of rural residents, and realize the sustainable development strategy of rural better and beautiful. |
