| Human beings are extremely weak in the face of the raging epidemic,which makes us have to rethink how humans get along with nature and how to protect our fragile bodies.Behind the epidemic are harmful bacteria and microbes that come into contact with the human body,resulting in damage to the immune system.So how to establish a healthy microenvironment between bacteria,microorganisms and human body is a direction of current academic research.Nanofiber materials have the characteristics of small scale and large specific surface area,and naturally have high barrier properties.by adding some antibacterial substances to obtain antibacterial properties,a kind of high efficient antibacterial barrier materials can be obtained.Generally,the added antibacterial ingredients are mostly inorganic metal substances,such as silver ions,or organic polymer substances,such as quaternary ammonium salts.But both of the antibacterial ingredients have certain problems-they are toxic to the human body or can make microorganisms such as bacteria produce antibodies.In this paper,the natural antibacterial substance wormwood extract powder was used as the antibacterial component,and wormwood nanofiber materials were prepared by blending with polyethylene oxide and polyacrylonitrile.Then the composite material is prepared with hot air and melt-blown nonwoven materials.The composites with high efficiency,long-term antibacterial and excellent barrier properties were successfully prepared,which can be applied in the field of medical protection.Firstly,the micro-morphology,solubility and antibacterial properties of Wormwood extract powder were tested and analyzed,and compared with the material added with wormwood essential oil.After that,the wettability,tensile properties and thermal stability of wormwood nanofiber material were studied.Finally,the application properties of medical protective materials such as permeability and filtration efficiency,antibacterial properties,unidirectional moisture conductivity and biocompatibility were evaluated.The results show that:(1)Compared with wormwood essential oil,wormwood extract powder is easier to store and transport,and can maintain antibacterial property for a long time.The antibacterial effect of wormwood extract powder on Staphylococcus aureus was better than that of Escherichia coli.(2)The addition of wormwood extract powder made the nanofiber material thicker,and the fiber breaking strength decreased with the addition of wormwood extract powder,but it was still higher than that of melt blown material,which could meet the daily use.At the same time,the higher the addition of wormwood extract powder,the better the antibacterial properties.(3)Compared with wormwood / PAN nanocomposites,the addition amount of wormwood extract in Wormwood / PEO nanocomposites is relatively lower.When the mass ratio of wormwood extract powder to poly(ethylene oxide)is 3: 10,the antibacterial effect is achieved when the mass ratio of wormwood extract powder to polyacrylonitrile is 10:15.(4)The addition of wormwood powder makes wormwood / polyacrylonitrile fiber composites have super hydrophilicity,and the wetting time is 126 times shorter than that of pure polyacrylonitrile nanofiber materials.When the mass ratio of wormwood grass to polyacrylonitrile reached 15:15,the antibacterial test of the sample after 2months storage showed that the bacteriostatic rate of Staphylococcus aureus reached99.5%,and no bacteria penetrated through it.But under the same conditions,the wormwood essential oil evaporates faster,and has lower antibacterial properties and durability.It can be seen that wormwood nanofiber materials have excellent antibacterial and barrier properties.(5)Hot air and melt-blown nonwovens to provide strength performance,wormwood nanofiber materials to provide antibacterial barrier properties.Taking into account the advantages of both,it can be used for masks and protective clothing.(6)The addition of wormwood extract powder makes the fiber material have good biocompatibility and no cytotoxicity;the melt blown material is compounded with wormwood / polyacrylonitrile nanofiber material,and the unidirectional moisture conductivity index can be as high as 988.96%.It is expected to solve the problems of hot concentration of fiber materials in summer,wet and cold in winter and bacterial reproduction.It has a broad application prospect in the fields of masks,dressings and medical protective clothing. |
