| In recent years, more and more countries have begun to pay attention to energy conservation, emission reduction and environmental protection, the Kyoto Protocol and the Paris Agreement signed and entered into force have shown that global climate governance is urgent,in this context,China in September 2020 put forward "carbon dioxide emissions strive to peak before 2030,and strive to achieve carbon neutrality before 2060" "dual carbon" goal,at the same time, the logistics industry has developed rapidly, becoming one of China’s important pillar industries, but also China’s carbon emission main industry,A large number of experts and scholars have begun to pay attention to the carbon emissions of the logistics industry, and achieving the low-carbon development of the logistics industry is of great strategic significance to achieve the "dual carbon" goal. The concept of "Industry 4.0" provides a guarantee for reducing carbon emissions in the logistics industry and promotes the transformation and upgrading of the logistics industry.Firstly, according to the components of Industry 4.0,the panel data of 30 provinces in China from 2011 to 2019 was selected to establish an evaluation index system of Industry 4.0,and the entropy method was used to measure the development level of Industry 4.0 in each province, and then the results were used as explanatory variables to analyze the intrinsic relationship with the carbon emissions of the logistics industry of the explanatory variables, and in the empirical analysis stage, the carbon emissions of the logistics industry in each province were calculated by the IPCC carbon emission measurement algorithm for benchmark regression, and the fixed-effect model was selected for estimation In order to solve the problem that the current carbon dioxide emissions are affected by the carbon emissions of the previous period, the dynamic panel regression model is used to estimate, and then the three intermediate variables of intensive production, business output scale and information integration ability are used as intermediary variables to study the nonlinear mediating effect relationship between Industry 4.0 and carbon emissions in logistics industry and explain the possible reasons. Finally,a robustness test analysis is carried out to prove the reliability of the results.Through the above analysis, this paper concludes that the impact of Industry 4.0on carbon emissions in the logistics industry presents a nonlinear relationship, and the shape is similar to that of an inverted "U" shape. From 2011 to 2019,the development level of industry 4.0 in all provinces in China generally showed a trend of floating in the early stage and slow growth in the later stage, and most provinces developed rapidly from 2018 to 2019;the impact of intensive production, business output scale and information integration ability on carbon emissions in the logistics industry was non-linear and had obvious inhibitory effects.Combined with other factors affecting the carbon emissions of the logistics industry and the empirical analysis results, reasonable suggestions are put forward to help the transformation and upgrading of the logistics industry and achieve healthy development. |
