At present,our economic development adhere to the growth of "quantity",as well as make efforts on the improvement of "quality".In the current context of climate warming,carbon emissions need to be urgently solved,and the transition to a low-carbon economy is urgent.It is precisely for this reason that on new stage of global scientific and technical industrial transformation,we must improve the industrial structure and use the opportunity to challenge the economic development structure.We need to change the mode of industrial development and promote economic development on the premise of reducing carbon emissions,and ultimately achieve industrial structure upgrading and reduce carbon emissions.For this reason,the paper explores the Yangtze River Economic Belt region,studies of consequences continuous upgrading of industrial structure on carbon emissions,based on the relevant results,makes relevant proposals that help the development of the region.In the future,it hoped that it will be helpful to achieve the goal of reducing carbon emissions in the Yangtze River Economic Belt.In paper,the industrial structure and energy consumption of 11 provinces(cities)are sorted out,and the issue of carbon emission is discussed from the point of industrial structure rationalization and advanced transformation.Based on panel data from 2005 to2020,firstly takes Theil Index to measure the rationalization of industrial structure.The analysis shows that the economic belt of the Yangtze River shows a good upward trend in terms of the rationalization level of the industrial structure.Then,the output value of different industries is the product of the ratio of the total output value,and the output value of each industry is used in proportion to the number of employees to calculate the improvement rate of the industrial structure.The results of the analysis show that similar to the industrial structure rationalization level,the advanced industrial structure in the Yangtze River Economic Belt also shows a significant upturn.Then the IPCC inventory method was used to calculate carbon emissions from the Yangtze River Economic Belt,and the increase in industrial structure and carbon emission levels were analyzed by descriptive statistics.Obviously,carbon emission level of each province(city)explains an increasing trend,and the difference between each province is relatively large.The main conclusions above: downstream areas are the main contributors to carbon emissions;The carbon emission intensity of the middle and upstream regions is higher than that of the downstream regions.In addition to the above conclusions,compared to the middle and upstream regions,the improvement of the industrial structure in the downstream areas also clearly has advantages.Apart from using industrial structure rationalization and advanced industrial structure as the two core explanatory variables,this paper also presents the degree of investment innovation,to establish the spatial Dubin model,the level of environmental regulation and the level of economic development,and the results of this study reveal that there is an inverse correlation between the level of rationalization of industrial structure and the level of rationalization of industrial structure,the advanced degree of industry,structure and level of carbon emissions.The results of the study show that an increase in industrial structure can have a real negative impact on the level of carbon emissions,that is,if the industrial structure can be continuously improved,it can effectively reduce carbon emissions and from the aspect of reducing the contribution rate of carbon emission level,improving industrial structure helps more than rationalization.In a number of provinces(cities)in the Yangtze River Economic Belt,the relationship between industrial structure improvement and carbon emissions is mainly high and low agglomeration.With relatively strong spatial correlation.Carbon emissions of each province(city)influence each other.Control variables innovation input,environmental regulation and economic development level are also significantly correlated with carbon emission level,and all are negatively correlated.These factors have a positive impact on reducing carbon emission and protecting ecological environment.Based on the above results,a number of political opinions are put forward: adhere to sustainable development,promote economic transformation;Strengthen the upgrading of industrial structure and reduce energy consumption;Strengthen regional cooperation to build a low-carbon industrial system;Adopt differentiated policies in accordance with local conditions. |
