| China’s development has progressed rapidly since the reform and opening up.While residents’ wealth has been improved by leaps and bounds,environmental pollution has also been brought about.Green-technology innovation not only plays an important role in achieving high output and environmental protection,but also is conducive to achieving sustainable development.The state has improved environmental policies and encouraged the public to participate in environmental protection,promoted the systematic green transformation of the whole society and built a green development pattern of the national economy,aiming at promoting the development of green technology innovation.On the whole,there is a synergistic relationship between wealth level and green technology innovation.High-wealth areas have high-quality and high-quality production materials and a complete regulatory service system,which can help the development of green technology in the region.Based on the above background,this paper analyzes the transmission path of wealth level on green technology innovation after combing relevant literature and theoretical theories.The empirical tests are as follows: Firstly,this paper gathers the 2005-2019 provincial data as the sample data,exploring the relationship between the two by fixed panel model.In order to explore the heterogeneity impact of wealth levels and regions,this paper uses group regression to analyze;Secondly,this paper deeply analyse the impact mechanism,we choose public environmental concern as mediation variables which can play a role in the two,and analyzes the marginal changes of the nature of wealth and environmental regulation variables as regulatory variables on the green effect of wealth.Finally,in order to explore the spatial effect of wealth level on the "local neighborhood" of green technology innovation,this paper establishes a spatial econometric model for empirical test.This paper can draw the following conclusions through empirical research: Firstly,wealth level is conducive to promoting green technology innovation.The increase of wealth can motivate the technology to transform to the green direction,and then,promoting the development of green technology innovation.This paper replaces proxy variables and regression models to test the robust of result,and it is found that when green technology innovation is high lever,the innovation of wealth level on green technology is high too.Secondly,there is heterogeneity in the green technology innovation effect of wealth level.The green technology effect of wealth presents a self-reinforcing feature and great green technology innovation effect of wealth with high wealth level of a province;There is regional heterogeneity,The green technology innovation effect of wealth in the eastern region is higher than that in the central and western regions.Thirdly,public attention plays an intermediary role in the mechanism of wealth level’s effect on green technology innovation.the public pay more attention to environmental protection and health when wealth is promotion,which push forward the development of green technology by informal institutions.Fourthly,there is path dependency between wealth and green technology innovation,and the source of wealth and government regulation can play a regulatory role.The higher the degree of regional wealth from high-pollution and energy-consuming industries,the lower the positive effect of the two;and the effect between wealth level and green technology innovation is strengthened on the condition of strict environmental regulations.Fifthly,the impact of the two has a spatial effect.Green technology innovation has spatial correlation,and the improvement of local wealth level has promoted own green technology innovation,as well as own to local green technology innovation but,for the green technology development of neighboring regions,it has spatial siphon effect,which inhibits the driving force of green technology innovation of neighboring regions.Based on the above-mentioned substantial evidences,this paper brings forth the following suggestions: Firstly,adjust the industrial structure according to local conditions,improve the product and factor market resource ratio and information transmission efficiency,and stimulate the development potential of green technology innovation of industrial enterprises.Secondly,improve the public supervision system,increase the participation of the public in environmental protection events,and strive to build a government,enterprise and people’s trinity supervision system.Thirdly,we should attach importance to the interaction between regions and establish a regional coordinated governance system and a linkage mechanism for environmental pollution disposal. |
