| As a large country of textile production and use,China has a great demand for fabric raw materials. However, with the vigorous economic and social development and the continuous pursuit of a better life by the people, the use cycle of fabrics has been continuously shortened, resulting in a huge amount of waste fabrics.Waste fabrics are mainly derived from waste fabrics such as scraps produced in industrial production, and old fabrics such as old clothing and home textiles produced in daily use.Failure to reasonably recycle waste and old fabrics will not only waste resources, but also affect the ecology. As the most commonly used fabric raw material, cotton fiber can be seen everywhere in daily production and life. Therefore,in order to reduce pollution and improve the utilization rate of resource recycling, the exploration of the recycling method of waste and old cotton fabrics and the physical properties of the recycled fabrics has a far-reaching and significant impact. In this paper, the technical route is to explore the physical properties of mechanically recycled waste cotton fabrics. The hand-pulled cotton fiber with a length of about 28 mm is spun into 30 tex cotton yarn, plain weave, twill woven fabric, flat weft and 1+1 rib knitted fabric.According to national standards, physical properties such as hairiness, breaking strength, breaking strength, tearing strength, pilling and wear resistance were tested respectively. In order to explore the physical properties of waste cotton fabrics such as scraps after mechanical recycling, the woven plain weave, twill woven fabric, flat weft and1+1 rib knit fabric have been woven to simulate waste cotton fabrics for the first mechanical recycling, disassembled into waste cotton fiber, the raw cotton fiber and the waste cotton fiber recovered by the machine for the first time are blended at a ratio of 2/1 and 1/1 respectively, and then spun again to form plain weave, twill woven fabric and flat weft,1+1 rib knitted fabric, and repeat the physical performance test. The waste cotton fabric was recovered mechanically for the second time, and the raw cotton fiber and the waste cotton fiber recovered mechanically for the second time were mixed spun, woven and physical properties tested at the ratio of 2/1.In order to explore the physical properties of old cotton fabric after mechanical recovery in daily life, two kinds of most common cotton fabric structures were selected: plain weave fabric and flat weft knitted fabric.According to the national standard, the two kinds of fabric structure were washed for 30 times and the pilling box was turned over and rubbed for 14400 times respectively to simulate the daily use.The simulated old cotton fabric was recovered mechanically, and the raw cotton fiber and the mechanically recovered old cotton fiber were blended at the ratio of 2/1 and1/1 respectively, and then woven into plain weave fabric and weft plain needle fabric again, and the physical properties were tested.According to the data analysis, the properties of waste cotton yarn and fabric decreased somewhat when raw cotton fiber was blended with mechanically recovered waste cotton fiber, but basically retains more than 76.4% of the physical properties of the raw cotton fabric;at the same time,it is simulated after daily use.The old cotton fabric is blended with raw cotton fiber after mechanical recycling. The old cotton fabric also possesses more than 60% of the physical properties of raw cotton fabric. Therefore, the waste cotton fabric after mechanical recovery still has certain use value. When the ratio of raw cotton fiber to recycled waste cotton fiber is 2/1,the physical properties of recycled waste yarns and fabrics are the best, and the physical properties of fabrics retain 80.2% of the physical properties of raw cotton fabrics. |
