Dining behavior is composed of both human instinctive behavior and acquired behavior. As an important connection between these two behaviors, tableware is always limited by the inertial thinking of the public. The concept of ’Without Thought’provides effective solutions for this. The concept of ’Without Thought’ has been proposed, allowing product interaction to no longer be limited to users and products, but to expand to explore the relationship between users, products, and the environment in the usage environment. At present, research on ’Without Thought’ mainly focuses on the collection and analysis of behavior, neglecting the process of transforming abstract requirements into concrete products, resulting in many product designs being unable to guide user behavior, let alone persuade users. In addition, the chaotic use of emotional elements leads to the blind addition of artistic elements in design, often resulting in the consequences of product design being flashy without substance. This dissertation takes tableware design as the research object.Firstly, using the concept of ’Without Thought’,based on the concepts of archetype and design archetypes in product design, and through case analysis,it summarizes the method of transforming invisible requirements into visible products.Secondly, based on the rationality and sensibility in product design,by analyzing excellent design cases, this dissertation summarize and deduce the existing methods of ’Without Thought’,and summarize two stages:’required unconscious design’ and ’associative unconscious design’.Subsequently,8 sets of tableware design was completed, including chopsticks, bowl and spoon, opener spoon, straw cup, small bowl, plates, handle cup and spoon. This study combines people’s unconscious behavior with the design of tableware products, effectively enhancing the practicality of the concept of ’Without Thought’,providing design ideas for products that can simultaneously meet the behavioral and emotional satisfaction of users, and providing scientific reference value for future research on ’Without Thought’ methods and tableware design. |
