The Research On Ecological Restoration Planning Of Lengshuijiang City Based On Ecological Security Pattern

Lengshuijiang City,which is known as the "world antimony capital",has made great contributions to the development of industry and mining in Hunan Province.However,the city currently faces two major problems of overcapacity and outdated industrial structure.In view of the historical legacy issues of mining and comprehensive analysis of various ecological problems,the ecological security level of Lengshuijiang City was analyzed,the ecological security pattern was constructed,and ecological restoration planning was carried out.This is of great significance for building Hunan’s ecological civilization city and a new Lengshuijiang City that is prosperous,beautiful,and happy.Based on the natural background of Lengshuijiang City,this paper conducted research on ecological security evaluation,ecological security pattern construction,and ecological restoration planning,and achieved the following results:(1)Ecological Security Evaluation of Lengshuijiang City:The overall ecological security level of Lengshuijiang City is generally moderate,with a spatial distribution characterized by "high in the eastern,western,and southern parts,and low in the central and northern parts".Lengshuijiang City is mainly at a moderate or lower ecological security level,with a total area of 29,608 hectares,accounting for 67.57%of the total city area,and fragmented distribution in the central part of Lengshuijiang City.The areas with the highest ecological security level are concentrated in MaoYi Forest Farm and DaChengshan Forest Farm,with a total area of 8,787.98 hectares,accounting for 20.01%of the total city area.The areas with the lowest ecological security level have an area of 6,724.48 hectares,accounting for 15.31%of the total city area,mainly concentrated in the Xikuangshan Street in the north.(2)The ecological security pattern of Lengshuijiang City consists of ecological source areas and ecological corridors.There are a total of 9 ecological source areas with a combined area of 3184.50 hectares,accounting for 7.27%of the total area of the research area.They are mainly distributed in the central part of Lengshuijiang City,including natural reserves and areas with high forest coverage.There are 13 ecological corridors in total,with the shortest one measuring 8.1 kilometers and the longest one measuring 26.64 kilometers.The average length is 15.07 kilometers,and the total length of the optimal ecological corridors is 195.92 kilometers.These corridors are distributed in a grid pattern along the mountain range,connecting the ecological source areas.(3)Summary of Ecological Security Issues in Lengshuijiang City and Proposal for Ecological Restoration Based on the Ecological Security Pattern:"One River,Two Cores and Two Areas" as the Planning Structure.The ecological restoration zoning plan,key restoration projects,key restoration tasks,and implementation security measures are studied,aiming to provide theoretical support for the land use planning in Lengshuijiang,Hunan Province,China.
