The 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China proposed to adhere to the integrated protection and systematic governance of mountains,rivers,forests,fields,lakes,grasslands,and sands.Ecological restoration of land space is a vivid practice of integrated protection and ecological civilization construction.This article evaluates the ecological environment quality and ecosystem service functions of Chaoyang County,constructs an ecological security pattern,divides ecological restoration zones,constructs an overall pattern of ecological restoration,and proposes targeted differentiated restoration strategies,Provide theoretical and methodological references for the ecological protection and restoration of Chaoyang County’s territorial space.The main research results of this article are as follows:(1)Ecological Environment Quality Assessment and Land Use Change.Based on remote sensing images and land use data from three periods of 2000,2010,and 2020,an RSEI model and land use change matrix were constructed.The average RSEI values over the past 20 years were 0.634,0.669,and 0.575,showing a trend of first increasing and then decreasing,and overall showing a downward trend.The ecological environment quality has gone through a process of improving to deteriorating.Over the past 20 years,the area of arable land and grassland has decreased,while the area of forest land,water areas,construction land,and unused land has increased.(2)The spatiotemporal changes in ecological service functions.Based on the In VEST model to estimate ecosystem service functions,the overall average habitat quality index increased from 0.692 to 0.707 from 2000 to 2020,with a slight increase;The total carbon storage are 34.99×104 t、43.94×104 t、43.74×104 tons,showing a trend of first increasing and then slowly decreasing;The average soil conservation amount is 0.65×103 t/km~2、0.96×103 t/km~2、0.82×103 t/km~2,showing a trend of first increasing and then decreasing;The average value of water source conservation is139 mm,301 mm,and 244 mm,showing a trend of increasing and then decreasing.Over the past 20 years,the comprehensive index of ecosystem service function was0.433,0.455,and 0.463,showing a continuous increasing trend,indicating that the ecosystem service function of Chaoyang County has continued to improve.(3)Identification of ecological sources and construction of ecological resistance surfaces.Based on the combination of ecosystem service comprehensive index and remote sensing ecological index,10 ecological source areas were identified and 8ecological resistance factors were selected to determine resistance values.The weights of the 8 factors were determined using Analytic Hierarchy Process,and an ecological resistance factor evaluation system and ecological resistance surface were constructed,with resistance values ranging from 0.83 to 11.88.(4)Construct an ecological security pattern.Based on the minimum resistance model and the Cost Path tool,36 potential ecological corridors were extracted,and 18key ecological corridors were identified using the gravity model.Based on circuit theory and the Line Mapper plugin,27 ecological pinch points,30 ecological obstacle points,and 48 ecological fracture points were identified to construct an ecological security pattern.(5)Ecological restoration zoning and restoration strategies.Divide five different types of key restoration areas,determine four ecological restoration zones based on physical geography characteristics and key restoration areas,build an overall ecological restoration pattern of"two screens,three corridors and four areas",and propose restoration strategies based on ecological security pattern and key ecological restoration areas. |
