Research On The Impact Of Carbon Information Disclosure Quality On Enterprise Value

According to relevant reports,the intensification of global warming has led to frequent natural disasters and the continuous deterioration of the global ecological environment,which has seriously threatened the safety of people’s lives and property.This has aroused great concern from governments,enterprises and individuals around the world about climate change.Our country has also actively participated in and responded to the global call and put forward the goal of "achieving carbon peak by 2030 and carbon neutrality by 2060".How to achieve carbon reduction,emission reduction and carbon recycling is a major issue faced by Chinese enterprises.Therefore,the quality of carbon information disclosure is of great significance to China’s early realization of the "double carbon"goal.As the main body of the capital market,carbon information disclosure can promote enterprises to adjust the resource and energy structure,accelerate the transformation of industrial structure,and gradually move towards the low-carbon enterprise model,so as to improve the core competitiveness of enterprises and establish a green and environmental image.This paper selects the carbon sample data of Listed Companies in Shenzhen Stock Exchange from 2016 to 2020 as the research object.First,it reviews and summarizes the research reasons and status quo of carbon information disclosure,analyzes the current research deficiencies,clarifies the research ideas,starts to build the research framework of the paper,and learns the relevant theoretical basis,which can provide strong theoretical support for the following research,and analyzes the impact mechanism of carbon information disclosure quality and enterprise value.Second,Tobin Q model and multiple linear regression model of carbon information disclosure quality and enterprise value(i.e.market value and financial performance)are established and tested empirically.Finally,it draws relevant conclusions,points out the limitations and shortcomings of this study,and puts forward suggestions for improvement.The purpose is to help Chinese enterprises continuously improve and improve the quality and level of carbon governance and carbon management,so that Chinese enterprises can strengthen the management of carbon emissions in an all-round way,enhance the performance level of enterprises,enhance the value of enterprises,and finally promote the low-carbon development of our national economy.
