Research On The Impact Of Carbon Information Disclosure On Financial Performance Of BS Iron And Steel Enterprises

Greenhouse gas emissions lead to the rapid rise of global temperature,people of all countries have shown unprecedented concern about climate change,low-carbon economy on the historical stage is the general trend.Carbon information disclosure is not only the main channel to reduce greenhouse gas emissions,but also the key to promote energy conservation and emission reduction.The purpose of enterprises to carry out production and operation activities is to improve their financial performance.If the disclosure of carbon information can improve the financial performance,then enterprises will actively carry out carbon information disclosure.Therefore,the study of the impact of corporate carbon information disclosure on financial performance is conducive to the mutual promotion of corporate value and carbon information disclosure.As a heavy polluting enterprise,the relationship between carbon information disclosure and enterprise value should be focused on.Taking BS iron and Steel Co.,Ltd.(hereinafter referred to as BS iron and steel enterprise)as the research object,this thesis uses the method of empirical research to study the impact of carbon information disclosure on financial performance of BS iron and steel enterprises,aiming to improve the enthusiasm of carbon information disclosure and enhance the level of enterprise performance.Firstly,combined with the industry background of BS iron and steel enterprises,this thesis analyzes and evaluates the current situation of carbon information disclosure and financial performance of BS iron and steel enterprises.Secondly,this thesis selects the relevant indicators of carbon strategy,carbon management and carbon emission reduction of BS iron and steel enterprises as independent variables,and the dependent variable is return on net assets.Through descriptive statistics,correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis,this paper empirically tests the impact of carbon information disclosure on financial performance of BS iron and steel enterprises,and draws the conclusion that carbon information disclosure of BS iron and steel enterprises has a positive impact on financial performance Sound,can promote the improvement of financial performance of BS iron and steel enterprises.Finally,combined with the existing problems of carbon information disclosure of BS enterprises and the impact of carbon information disclosure on financial performance,this paper puts forward some suggestions on improving carbon information disclosure of BS iron and steel enterprises from the aspects of enhancing cognitive level,enhancing strategic awareness,listing low-carbon subjects separately,preparing carbon accounting report,introducing low-carbon economic performance evaluation index,etc.,so as to improve the financial performance of BS iron and steel enterprises.
