Study On The Classification And Treatment Of Urban Community Domestic Waste

With the improvement of China’s economic level,the number of residents is increasing,and the number of household garbage is increasing.The phenomenon of"garbage besieged city" is becoming more and more serious,which has become a major obstacle to China’s sustainable development.In order to effectively solve this problem,sorting household waste is the most effective measure.The implementation of garbage classification is beneficial to essentially solve the problem of people’s living environment and promote the harmonious development of human and natural environment.Suzhou,as one of the first 46 pilot cities to carry out garbage classification determined by The State Council,launched the "Regulations of Suzhou Municipal Household Garbage Classification Management" on June 1,2020.This paper introduces the relevant background of garbage classification in urban communities and the significance of governance.By defining the concepts of urban communities,domestic waste classification,and domestic waste classification and treatment,using the theory of multi-center governance,collaborative governance and externality governance,it takes the current situation and achievements of X community in Jinjihu Street,Suzhou Industrial Park as the basis point.Through the form of questionnaire,the analysis of the waste classification infrastructure construction is not perfect,the source classification of residents is not accurate,the main body participation consciousness is not high,the waste classification management system is not perfect and other problems.In view of these problems,based on the successful experience of domestic and foreign advanced urban solid waste classification treatment,the following four countermeasures and suggestions are proposed:strengthening various safeguard measures,deepening rules and regulations to improve residents’ participation,strengthening publicity and education,and raise residents’ awareness of classification and their main responsibility,improving the garbage classification treatment system and the construction of laws and regulations.It is hoped that the sustainable development and low-carbon construction of Suzhou Industrial Park can be realized through the effective implementation of the above measures.
