| With China’s continuous investment in the sustainable development of environmental protection and the coordinated development of all parties, the public, including the international community, pay more and more attention to China’s carbon emissions, and China has also publicly promised the goal of carbon neutrality and peak targets. On the basis of the positive economic development and transformation, industrial innovation and environmental protection production,The State Council and the local governments have introduced different environmental regulation measures to reduce carbon emissions in the region and optimize the energy consumption structure. But regional environmental regulation and carbon emissions, economic development level has a significant tendency between stakeholders, and has the phenomenon of interest game, under this background, regional environmental regulation on carbon emissions whether really have certain influence, and regional environmental regulation practice can have the effect of carbon reduction, carbon reduction, this is this topic research problem. In nine cities in the pearl river delta region as an example, with environmental regulation as an explanatory variable, carbon emissions as an explanatory variable, constructed the data model, and set the level of economic development technological progress, foreign direct investment, energy consumption structure, industrial structure control variables, through the variable correlation analysis, and hypothesis model of mediation effect, regulation effect, concluded that command control environmental regulation has the biggest impact on carbon emissions, technological progress and industrial structure also has a significant impact on carbon emissions.According to the analysis and conclusion, this paper puts forward a series of measures, such as taking appropriate environmental regulation measures according to different economic development levels, improving technological progress and optimizing industrial structure,to reduce regional carbon emissions. |
