Green development is a development that conforms to nature,promotes the harmonious coexistence between humans and nature,achieves maximum economic and social benefits with minimum resource and environmental costs,and is of high quality and sustainable.Green development of libraries is an important way for libraries to fulfill their social responsibilities and achieve high-quality development.Based on the perspective of ecological civilization construction,this paper takes the green development of libraries as the research object,expounds the important role and significance of green development of libraries,and discusses the main content of green development of libraries.The main research methods of this paper are literature research and online survey.It summarizes and analyzes the practical effects of green development of libraries in China,analyzes the shortcomings and their causes of green development of libraries,and puts forward strategies and measures for green development of libraries to provide reference and guidance,help libraries participate in ecological civilization construction,and promote scientific and sustainable development of libraries.
