As global climate change continues to intensify,it is imperative for human beings to accelerate carbon reduction.Under the leadership of the "double carbon" target,the direction of the policy has profoundly affected the development direction of enterprises,and the green low-carbon economy advocated by the state has put forward new requirements for the high-quality sustainable development of enterprises.As a result,a"green wave" has been set off in various industries in China in recent years.Energy is an important basis for national economic development,and with the rapid development of China’s economy,energy problems are becoming increasingly serious.On the one hand,the environmental pollution caused by traditional energy sources cannot be ignored;on the other hand,the contradiction between the growing energy demand of social development and the decreasing existing energy resources is becoming more and more prominent.In this context,new energy sources have gradually become a major development trend to replace traditional high-pollution energy sources.As the most economical energy source in the field of new energy,photovoltaic power generation has been recognized globally,and this industry is developing rapidly under the support of many policies.However,since the epidemic,under the influence of many factors the PV industry raw materials such as silicon,photovoltaic glass,etc.have been in short supply,price increases,resulting in the accelerated increase in industry concentration in the PV industry;at the same time,the installed demand for PV at home and abroad still continues to rise.Therefore,the leading companies in the PV industry have implemented green supply chain integration and integrated layout.Among the leading companies in the PV industry,Trina Solar’s green management is exemplary,and it was selected as a typical national green supply chain management case in 2021,so this thesis selects Trina Solar as a research case.Based on the literature on green supply chain integration at home and abroad in terms of influencing factors and effects,this thesis investigates the specific measures and mechanisms of Trina Solar’s green supply chain integration.Trina Solar’s green supply chain integration can be divided into external green integration and internal green integration.In terms of external green integration,Trina Solar promotes corporate innovation,achieves cost reduction and efficiency increase,and captures product markets through forming alliances,locking materials in long orders,participating in upstream,forming industrial clusters with auxiliary material enterprises,and acquiring excellent downstream enterprises,so as to improve corporate profitability;in terms of internal green integration,Trina Solar improves its profitability through technological innovation and improvement.In terms of internal green integration,Trina Solar continuously improves the "green content" of each internal link through technological innovation and improvement,establishes a green and low-carbon corporate image,enhances the green reputation of the company,and thus increases the corporate value.From the perspective of the implementation effect,Trina Solar’s green supply chain integration is effective,both in the vertical analysis based on the performance of earnings,debt service,operations and growth,and in the horizontal analysis using JinkoSolar as a comparison company.Therefore,this thesis argues that in order to successfully implement green supply chain integration,companies must have certain strengths.Specifically,first,companies need to focus on developing their own special products and use them as the basis for strategic layout;second,companies need to have their own core technologies and keep up with the industry trend of innovation;third,companies need to pay close attention to policy trends,grasp the future trend of the industry,and adjust their development strategies in conjunction with the company’s development goals. |
