Research On Steel Production Process Optimization Of JT Company Based On Value Stream Mapping Analyzing Method

Lean thinking is an important management means for enterprises to improve operation efficiency.Value stream analysis is one of the common tools of lean management.JT company is the first modern iron and steel enterprise with single capacity of 10 million tons built in coastal areas in China,and it is a typical long-process iron and steel enterprise.The continuous improvement of the operation efficiency of steelmaking and continuous casting process plays an important role in the overall improvement of the efficiency of the whole iron and steel manufacturing process.This paper takes steelmaking and continuous casting process as the research object,takes lean management and value stream analysis as the research foundation.Based on the status collecting from the steelmaking and continuous casting process,value stream analysis is drew to identify the value added and non-value-added process.The time consumption of the process links and continuous casting process is more than the others.The process links and continuous casting process is in efficient.The objective of process optimization is identified by comparing with industry benchmarking enterprises.Based on brainstorming and individual interviews,the influence factors are identified.Shorten the standard working-consumption,implementing the"one to one" production organization,strengthening the staff,speeding up the access of continuous casting process,optimizing the maintenance model,continuous casting fan-shaped segment repair quality research,are suggestions for operation efficiency improvement.An operation efficiency improvement program is built.After the program is realized,the valueadded ratio of steelmaking and continuous casting process is expected to increase by 2%,reaching the level of industry benchmark enterprises,and the process operation rhythm will be significantly accelerated,the process connection will be more efficient,and the process cost will be significantly reduced.The research process of this paper shows that the method of value stream analysis can determine the key links and optimization objectives of the process optimization in iron and steel enterprises.The process optimization is also a collaborative process of all related majors.The optimization of production operation process is not only the work of production technology majors,but also requires the cooperation of equipment majors,operators to operate according to operation standards,and all related parties in the process to form synergy.
