Research On Performance Evaluation Of China Petroleum Under The Green And Low-carbon Strateg

Due to environmental degradation,natural disasters occur frequently,posing a serious threat to the safety of people’s lives and property.Therefore,green,low-carbon,environmental protection and other issues have been valued by various countries.2020,China put forward the relevant policies of "carbon peaking and carbon neutrality",striving to promote the low-carbon development of enterprises in all walks of life,and the oil industry,as a high-energy-consuming and high-pollution industry,plays an important role in helping China achieve the "dual carbon" goal.In 2020,CNPC will incorporate green and low-carbon into its development strategy,but it lacks the performance evaluation of green and low-carbon strategy,so this paper builds a performance evaluation system for CNPC under the green and low-carbon strategy on the basis of the traditional performance evaluation system,which will help link the strategic orientation of green and low-carbon with performance evaluation,and at the same time better help the country to promote the realization of "carbon neutrality and carbon compliance".This paper takes CNPC(China National Petroleum Corporation)as the research object and evaluates the company’s corporate performance based on its green and lowcarbon strategy.This paper first expounds the development of CNPC,and discusses the current situation and shortcomings of enterprise performance evaluation.Secondly,the five major strategies of CNPC are analyzed in detail,and according to the five major strategies and the characteristics of enterprises,the basic framework of CNPC performance evaluation system under the green and low-carbon strategy is constructed,the performance evaluation indicators are selected,and the scores and weights of each index are determined in the form of questionnaires.Finally,based on the score and the specific situation of CNPC,the strategy to improve the company’s performance is proposed,and the company’s development prospects are prospected.It is found that the traditional performance evaluation system of CNPC is insufficient,and the performance evaluation based on green and low-carbon strategy can better support the realization of CNPC strategy.Under the green and low-carbon strategy,CNPC performance evaluation scored well,but there is still room for improvement in some indicators,so this paper proposes performance improvement strategies such as optimizing capital structure,developing new energy to seize market share,and cultivating R&D technical talents.
