With the rapid development of today’s society,the inheritance of ethnic culture should keep up with the pace of the times and seek new development.By combining modern arts and crafts with traditional ethnic handicrafts,new forms of artistic expression should be established to promote the inheritance of ethnic minority culture.This article is based on the graduation design work "Drum Tower Impressions",which integrates ethnic minority elements for decoration without losing traditional craftsmanship.The main purpose is to call for the inheritance of ethnic minority culture.The Dong ethnic culture,architectural design,and pattern decoration are used as the creative foundation,and their works are presented through a comprehensive expression of structural restructuring and decoration.This creation explores the continuation and regeneration of traditional ethnic culture in the new era by drawing on the development of modern arts and crafts,enhancing people’s sense of identity,and calling for the inheritance and development of traditional culture.
