There is an ancient saying that "food is the life of the people".When General Secretary Xi Jinping said about food security,"everything is long,eating is big",which shows the importance of food.Mongolian food culture is an important part of Chinese culture.The green,healthy and portable characteristics are popular among people.The study of Mongolian food culture has important social and cultural significance,but also has certain practical significance.At the Central Conference on Ethnic Work,General Secretary Xi Jinping pointed out that "enhancing unity,respecting and tolerating differences are important principles of ethnic work",and the process of Mongolian food culture is the result of exchanges and integration among various ethnic groups.It is of great significance to study the changes of Mongolian food culture under the perspective of ethnic exchanges and integration,to inherit and carry forward the excellent traditional culture of the Chinese nation,build a common spiritual home of all ethnic groups,consolidate and develop harmonious ethnic relations,and deeply understand the sense of community of the Chinese nation.This paper mainly discusses it from four parts.The first part discusses the communication and integration of ethnic groups,expounds the background,connotation,mutual relationship,function and significance,and analyzes the relevant concepts of cultural change.The second part discusses the formation conditions and basic connotation of Mongolian food culture.The third part discusses the changes of Mongolian food culture and the process,performance and reasons.The fourth part explores how to inherit and develop the Mongolian food culture in promoting ethnic exchanges and integration.
