Research On The Impact Of Green Supply Chain Management On Enterprise Performance Of Manufacturing Enterprises

Under the trend of pursuing green economy,supply chain is upgrading to green supply chain.Green Supply Chain Management(GSCM)has become an important means for enterprises to promote green transformation and improve enterprise performance.Under the guidance of national policies,the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has established a green manufacturing index system to evaluate enterprises’ green performance and issued a green manufacturing list.Enterprises in the list have outstanding achievements in Green Supply Chain Management and excellent environmental performance.These enterprises can lead the development of green supply chain as green models in the industry,and they are mainly in manufacturing industries.It can be seen that the manufacturing industry is the main force for the development of green supply chain in China.However,the number of manufacturing enterprises on the list of green manufacturing accounts for less than 10%of the total number of listed manufacturing enterprises.It serves to show that the vast majority of manufacturing enterprises still cannot correctly recognize the positive role of Green Supply Chain Management on enterprise performance,which makes them respond negatively to GSCM.The guiding role of the Green Manufacturing List and the exemplary role of manufacturing GSCM enterprises are limited,thus hindering the process of green transformation of manufacturing industry.Therefore,to explore the impact of green supply chain management on enterprise performance in manufacturing enterprises plays an important role in promoting the development of green supply chain in China.Based on the above background,in combination with the green manufacturing list,this thesis focuses on listed manufacturing enterprises and explores the relationship between Green Supply Chain Management of manufacturing enterprises and enterprise performance.Moreover,government subsidies,R&D investment and investment efficiency are added as intermediary variables to study the influence mechanism of GSCM on enterprise performance.Firstly,based on relevant definitions and theories,this thesis theoretically analyzes the influence mechanism of GSCM on enterprise performance,and puts forward seven research hypotheses and conceptual models.Then,descriptive statistics and correlation analysis are carried out on the research data to master the basic characteristics and correlation of the research variables.On this basis,this thesis carries out multiple regression analysis on the research model.In addition,considering the impact of heterogeneity,this thesis divides the samples into groups based on property rights,economic regions and enterprise size,and conducts regression tests on each sample in turn.In addition,the robustness test is carried out by the variable substitution method,PSM and shortening the sample age in turn,which proves that the empirical results are robust.Through the above series of empirical tests,this thesis draws the following conclusions:1.Green Supply Chain Management can significantly improve enterprise performance.2.Government subsidies,R&D investment and investment efficiency play partial mediating effects in the impact of GSCM on enterprise performance respectively.3.Compared with state-owned enterprises,GSCM can better improve the performance of non-state-owned enterprises significantly.4.Compared with eastern and central regions,GSCM can most significantly improve the enterprise performance of manufacturing enterprises in western regions.5.Compared with large and medium-sized enterprises,GSCM can most significantly improve the enterprise performance of small manufacturing enterprises.Finally,based on the research results,suggestions are put forward for the development of green supply chain in China and for promoting manufacturing enterprises to actively participate in Green Supply Chain Management.
