Under the reform of China’s power system and the "carbon peaking and carbon neutrality goals" policy goal,new energy continues to squeeze the living space of thermal power.Thermal power companies are under huge competitive pressure.Thermal power companies not only need to generate stable and efficient electrical energy to ensure the safe operation of national production,but also need to reduce their own production costs,so as to occupy an advantageous position in market competition.Thermal power plants mainly rely on coal for power generation.The coal used for power generation is called thermal coal.Strictly controlling the supply cost of thermal coal is the key to enhancing the competitiveness of thermal power companies.The supply process of thermal coal covers the procurement,transportation and storage of coal fired by thermal power plants.However,the costs of various parts of coal supply are closely related,and the procurement,transportation and inventory costs of coal cannot all be optimal.This requires us to analyze and calculate the various parts of the overall supply cost in cost optimization,and optimize for the overall cost.Thermal power plants usually rely on the trend of market coal prices and contract fulfillment rate(cfr)to formulate safety stock days and determine the coal order quantity.If the thermal power plant can analyze the leading indicators of coal price and cash rate,it can formulate the coal supply strategy in advance before the market changes,reduce the production cost and improve the income of the power plant.As the largest thermal power plant of HN group in Hebei Province,A thermal power plant is responsible for ensuring the power supply of the capital of Hebei Province and surrounding counties and cities.At present,A thermal power plant relies heavily on this type of coal by signing a long-term coal supply agreement with Shanxi YQ Coal Industry.A thermal power plant lacks coal market analysis and focus on inventory costs.These are not conducive to reducing costs.In this context,this paper aims at the problems existing in the coal-fired supply process of A thermal power plant,on the basis of referring to domestic and foreign references and collecting historical data of the thermal power plant,Firstly,the cost incurred in the coal-fired supply process of the thermal power plant is defined and decomposed.Then,using correlation analysis and causal test methods,the influencing factors affecting the supply cost of A thermal power plant were analyzed,and the leading indicators were analyzed for coal price and redemption rate.Finally,the quality and cost of the coal in stock are fully considered in the weekly coal supply process,constrained by the conditions of coalfired supply management in A thermal plant,the objective function with the lowest monthly coal supply cost is established.Using the dynamic programming optimization principle,taking the coal purchase quantity as the decision variable,the established model was solved by genetic algorithm.The comparison with the actual production data of the thermal power plant shows that the model established in this paper can not only simulate the coal supply process of the thermal power plant well,but also can be used to formulate the inventory quantity and order quantity.The calculation results satisfy the validity and rationality of the thermal plant production.The research of this paper helps the managers of A thermal power plant to effectively analyze the influencing factors of power plant supply costs,and improves the scientific of coal-fired supply strategy formulation.The cost optimization model established in this paper based on dynamic programming theory simulates the coal supply process of thermal power plants well.In practice,it can be used to guide the coal supply management of thermal plants and help decision makers formulate the types and quantities of coal procurement at different stages.It will help reduce the comprehensive cost of coal-fired supply for A thermal power plant and improve its competitiveness with other thermal power plants.
