| With the rapid advancement of urbanization during the last nearly 40 years, shrinking of blue-green ecological space, fragmentation of land use patches and decline of connectivity across the Feng River watershed, which has led to the degradation of ecosystem regulating services, such as water quality purification, rain and flood regulation and storage.Landscape planning and design must be based on spatial pattern optimization to enhance ecosystem services, study on how spatial pattern evolution affects important ecosystem services is the key to reveal mechanism. In this study, the spatial and temporal changes of land use pattern, and river system pattern in the Feng River watershed are analyzed by using multi-source data and multi-disciplinary research methods.Based on the above research, this paper analyzes the influence of pattern evolution on regulating services change through correlation analysis and “patternprocess-function” theory. The critical problem areas and nodes where patterns have been changed or regulating services decrease gradually are identified through the analysis of spatial data images. And then the paper puts forward the measures of pattern optimization and ecological restoration to improve regulating services from the perspective of discipline. The final goal of this paper is to further bring ecological benefits to watershed and provide well-being for mankind. The main content of this paper includes five parts. The first part proposes the basic theoretical research and analytical framework, this part summarizes the research progress of watershed spatial pattern evolution and ecosystem regulating services at home and abroad, clarifies the related theories and research methods of spatial pattern evolution on regulating services, and then puts forward the analytical framework and technical route of this paper. The second part analyzes the evolution of land use pattern, including the changes of the whole landscape characteristics and the morphological and quantitative changes of various types of patches, and spatial mapping is also applied. The third part mainly analyzes the change of river system pattern including the length, area, curvature and connectivity of river system, then establishes the spatial topological diagram. In the fourth part, three regulating services are analyzed, including water conservation, flood regulation and water quality purification, then it explores the interaction mechanism between the spatial pattern evolution and the service change combined with the spatial regression model,in this part, the ecology process analysis is used as a supplement to the conclusion. In the final part, the aim of this paper is to put forward the strategy of watershed pattern optimization with the goal of improving regulating services from the perspective of landscape architecture through the analysis of changes in the pattern. The main conclusions of this study are as follows.Firstly, the dynamic evolution of the spatial pattern of the Feng River watershed was analyzed by using the methods of landscape dynamic correlation in the landscape ecology and connectivity analysis in river ecology.Secondly, through the ecosystem services assessment method model, this paper identifies the Feng River watershed ecosystem regulating services decline more obvious region.Third, the relationship between spatial pattern and ecosystem regulating services was studied, and the key ecological restoration patches and key ecological nodes in different regions were identified, and ecological issues were also identified. Finally, aiming at improving the regulating services, the spatial pattern optimization strategy of key ecological regions and nodes is proposed. |
