Research On The Measurement And Spatial Difference Of Ecological Well-being Performance In Poyang Lake Area

Improving people’s well-being is the fundamental purpose of regional development,and achieving a higher level of people’s well-being at a smaller cost of resource consumption and environmental pollution is a fundamental requirement to better meet the growing needs of people for a better life in the new era.The thesis constructed a framework for measuring ecological well-being performance on the basis of analyzing the connotation of ecological well-being performance,and established an system for evaluating ecological well-being performance in Poyang Lake area.The data envelopment analysis method is applied to quantitatively measure the ecological well-being performance of each county in Poyang Lake area from 2007 to 2019,and the spatial difference characteristics of ecological well-being performance in Poyang Lake area from 2007 to 2019 are explored,and finally the influence factors of ecological well-being performance in Poyang Lake area are analyzed by applying the geographically weighted regression method.The main findings are as follows:(1)From 2007 to 2019,the overall level of ecological well-being performance of Poyang Lake area is significantly improved.The ecological well-being performance of the Binhu area showed an increasing trend,while the ecological well-being performance of the Around lake area showed a decreasing trend since 2016.The difference between the ecological well-being performance of the Binhu area and the Around lake area decreased before 2014,but the absolute gap in their ecological wellbeing performance widens after 2014.(2)From 2007 to 2019,the number of counties with high level of ecological wellbeing performance in Poyang Lake area has been increasing.The spatial clustering of ecological well-being performance in Poyang Lake area mainly shows high-high and low-low clustering,and the high-high clustering area extends from northeast to southwest,while the low-low clustering area is mainly distributed in the northwest and southeast of Poyang Lake area.(3)From 2007 to 2019,the overall spatial differences of ecological well-being performance in Poyang Lake area continue to decrease.The spatial differences of ecological well-being performance in Poyang Lake area mainly come from the internal differences between the Binhu area and the Around lake area,and the intra-regional spatial differences of ecological well-being performance in the Binhu area are larger than Around lake area.On the evolution trend of spatial differences,the spatial differences of ecological well-being performance in the Binhu area continue to decrease,and the spatial differences of ecological well-being performance in the Around lake area show an increasing trend since 2016.The counties with low ecological well-being performance within the Binhu area and the Around lake area have a catch-up effect on the high ecological well-being performance counties,with σconvergence and absolute β convergence.(4)The spatial differences in ecological well-being performance within the Around lake area lie in the inter-basin differences.Inter-county differences in ecological well-being performance were greatest in the Yangtze basin,smallest in the Rao River basin,and the differences between ecological well-being performance in the Fu River basin and other basins are large.Absolute β convergence exists for ecological well-being performance in the Poyang basin,Ganjiang basin,Xinjiang basin,Rao River basin,and Xiu River basin,while there is no absolute β convergence in the Yangtze River basin.(5)Urbanization is the main factor to promote the ecological well-being performance in Poyang Lake area.The level of economic development and environmental regulation have a facilitating effect on the improvement of overall ecological well-being performance in Poyang Lake area,and the industrial structure and public financial expenditure present different directions and magnitudes of influence on ecological well-being performance of different counties.
