| The application of regional characteristic cultural elements in packaging design can highlight the product characteristics.Excavating local culture and transmitting enterprise brand spirit is the focus of local characteristic product packaging design.This paper takes the peony seed oil of Guosefang as an example to study the peony culture in Heze,and to understand the development history,varieties,and cultural implications of peony.The classic elements in peony culture are extracted and used in the packaging design of products in the form of illustrations to improve the cultural connotation of the brand and make consumers have the desire to buy peony seed oil,thereby driving the development and progress of the Heze peony industry.This paper firstly analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of the development of the peony seed oil industry in the current international environment.By studying the packaging design with local characteristics at home and abroad,it is feasible to understand the current design trend and determine the design direction.Aftermarket research,the key points of the design were clarified,and then the local peony culture in Heze was deeply excavated,and the most representative peony elements were extracted,combined with the needs of consumers,and finally,a packaging design scheme suitable for three different usage scenarios was created.The diversified choices of consumers also make the peony culture rejuvenate. |
